When I finally got near the treasure hunting spot and dug all around there was nothing there! Am I digging wrong or something...

Have you got the map in your belt?

yes...

your success in digging out a map, depends on your mining skill. if its a high map i recommend:

1.) not to go alone
2. get a team of a mage, a digger and some good fighters.

Some maps have reallly nasty guards, you know?

It's only a smugglers map not a dragons treasure or silver object... it also indicates that the treasure is in a bulding... the druidhouse

there is a tactic how to indicate the exact location, but i think you better figure that out ig, maybe with the help of an more experienced treasure hunter?

Most of them won't even ask you to share your treasure with them.

PLus: Its a good chance to meet some people and have some rp. And thats why we are all here in the first place right?

I have never gone alone to seek a map. It is always more fun with others, even if you can do it yourself.
