Char pics

Hallo,
eine kleine Frage: Wenn ich aus Versehen ein falsches Charpic eingestellt habe, bzw es ändern will, wie kann ich das in meinem Account machen? Ich verstehe nicht wie ich es entfernen kann, und ein anderes adden klappt auch nicht.

Hello, one short question: If I had taken the wrong char pic in my account by accident, or want to change a char pic, how can I do this? Because I cant figure out how to do this, to get rid of it or to change it, and adding the other one is not possible either!

Nun du gehst auf dien Char-> Profil anzeigen, wählst dein Bild aus und gehst auf Änderungen speichern, das sollte das alte Bild löschen und dein neues reinsetzen.

ich weiss nicht wirklich, woran es liegt, aber manchmal scheint der Server ein bestimmtes Format nicht zu mögen
mal nimmt er lieber jpeg-Bilder, dann wieder eher png oder gif ... probier die Formate aus, achte aber auf die Größe der Pics

Sieh dir mal an, was unter der Zeile mit der Pfadangabe steht
nur *.jpg *.png *.gif - max. 200kb

nein, daran lags nicht...
aber danke, das problem wurde gelöst /hat sich seltsamerweise selber gelöst. Ich musste nur einmal ausloggen und wieder einloggen, dann haben die bilder gestimmt.

This happens to me a lot. Just let it sit, log in a few times, and upload it a few times as well. Took mine like a day to upload.

No, that it wasn't... (the format and maximumsize from before)
but thanks, the problem was resolved/has solved em selfe in a strange manner. I just had to logout once and again in, and the pictures where fine.

The problem is pretty simple.
The character picture is currently stored with the ID of the character is belongs to. That causes the problem that the browser caches this picture and does not download it again all time.
So on the server the picture is correctly uploaded but the browsers do not show it until the cache is reloaded. That happens usually every 5 to 10 page reloads.
Its in work to solve that problem.

Das Problem ist ziemlich einfach.
Das Charakterbild wird zur Zeit mit der mit der ID des charakters gespeichert zu dem es gehört. Das verursacht das Problem das der Browser das Bild zwischenspeichert und nicht immer wieder neu herunterläd.
Auf dem Server sind die Bilder schon immer richtig hochgeladen. Nur der Browser zeigt es nicht an, solange der Cache nicht neu geladen wird. Das passiert normalerweise wenn man 5 oder 10mal die Seite neu läd.
Ein Lösung für dieses Problem ist in Arbeit.

protip: If you download pr0n, clear your cache daily.
It's useful anyways.
