I got a question myself.. Now this is not personal as some of you like to make things but.. How comes the names Silentgun and Neonfire are alowed, I think there a bit ...dodgey, e.g 'Gun' and 'Neon' part. (They have been playing for a good while) where as I have seen people with relatively 'ok' names e.g. Madcat and there are a few others that have been made to change there name? (not mentioning the good load that do deserve to change there name.) Now this aint a dig at them two chars..but how comes? favoritism?

As far as i know, Silentgun (the Character) has been deleted. At least, he was on the "delete-because-of-name-" List.
"Neonfire" has renamed his character long ago. If you still know him with his "old" name, he must re-introduce to you.

I know that the word "neon" is no word which was used in ancient times. But "neon" has nothing to do with the element neon. It's just kind of an extraordinary first name. So my character is called "Neon Rift". And if you asked why it is still called "neon" ... it's for recognition purposes only (just that players see the connection between "neonfire" and "neon rift").

Well the only problem with "Neonfire" isn't just "Neon", but that the name seems to be combined using two existing words "neon" + "fire" and the new name is still the same thing: "neon" + "rift" (rift=a hole of sorts), so how is this any improvement? It's almost sounds the same as being named "Orange Canyon".
