since we can grow wheat i was wondeing about f we could add another grain that would have a slightly different use maybe
Whatif we add Oats. a common fodder crop for livestock. An idea here is that while the wheat can feed a person the oats would be fe dto cows to maybe speed them up, or perhaps extend the ditsanc eyou can wander form them for a period of time. Mabethe animals own hunger bar appears and when its fed it cant be led off unles the original owner is incapaciated as the cow would wantto stay with somebody who is feeding ittasty food instead of just havgin to forage for grass
Oats might aslo be able to br ground into oat flower iwth some of its own recipes such as well, oatmeal that would help takethe sting out of winters bite. Oat flour bread also might be much harder to cook than regular bread but also be alot healthier for you then regular wheat abread and restore etra hunger levels. and so forth, Just havign one grain type seems kinda limited since grains were the primary crops back then
