I would like to report to GM's that the character 'Dain Laden' purposefully clouded my character "Chester Copperpot' twice.
Him and "Julius Rothman" followed him to the cross after clouding him and clouded him again just as he walked off the cross!
I thought re-killing was a bannable offense?
These players know better.

Nope. Not when you refuse to play a injury and use wall shadows to run away after being attacked and ghosted. Play a injury, get back ig, and get out of the shadow.
And next time, don't log. That was some bad rp. I expected more out of you.

I would like to ask everyone to refrain from posting here. Let the GMs take care of this.

Actually Estralis already advised to Newbies that if a character is breaking the rules, and you don't have time to report it, Logging out is the only thing you can do.
I wasn't using shadows to run away, Dain was neck and neck with me slashing at me as soon as I stepped off that cross!
It was really a cheap shot, and you two should be ashamed.

Alright, this is being resolved by GM's.
Please lock this thread. Thanks.

If the accusation is public so should be what was decided upon,
otherwise people may get a wrong opinion about the people involved.
From what I read here, Chester showed bad RP by running after being struck down by two people, he should have played along with being made prisoner or whatever they had in mind with him instead of logging.

I prefer to keep it all entirely private.

Do I need to post a screenshot of you hiding in the wall shadow, Julius?

That was not a wall shadow. I thought that you could get to the other side of the building through there.

It doesn't matter. The thing is settled. Let it drop, please.

I do ask again if this had any outcome on the people involved.
As Chester failed to use the GM-report sheme on the homepage,
which you can't make me buy that he doesn't know about,
just to try and throw mud at the two, I do wish to know if any of that mud sticked to them because there will be people who believe accusations like this without proof and form wrong opinions about other players based on those "facts".
As neither Dain nor Julius seem to have been banished and Chester suddenly is awefully quiet I will just assume his whining was left unanswered and/or he was sanctionized for not playing along properly himself...
Chester, you should know better than making a big post on the board about this, this could have been handled in private just as well.

My reason for this post: I believe in Transparency in all matters. For my Guilds, I have always posted Treasuries, supplies and events for all to see. In the State I live in, we have a Law like this that makes all records public. I like that and it creates trust and morale among citizens. In this matter, I believe the players should also have an 'idea' of what happened.

A note to Faladron,
Now that you mention it, what GM-sheme are you talking about?
I know there are some things on the "German" website that don't exist on the "English" one, but is this one? All I see is a list of GM's under "Contact". Honestly, it's well-hidden and I didn't even think about that. Thanks for pointing this out for future use.
Now....the 'mud'....
Hehe....well......
We had a meeting, Dain, Julius and I with Loralyn (GM) late that night to resolve the situation. During discussion, Dain admitted he re-killed me. The GM stated that he would be banned.
Loyaly (#me Groans) Julius then wanted to be banned too, because they 'fought' together. The GM said nothing about that.
I was admonished for poor RP despite my explanations. I agree, I could have tried harder, but I was tired (It was 2 am for me). I took the criticism, fine. I don't mind criticism, it helps sometimes.
I was then sent back to TrollsBane (After wishing Julius 'Goodbye' as only Chester could, hehe) and the other two stayed. I logged off and went to sleep.
Yes, you are right. The next day, Dain and Julius are alive and well, and they team up with Dominic and clouded me and the Governor.
Hmm......what happened to being banned you say? Just add it to the long list of things 'Said' that aren't 'done' in this crazy game we all love (to hate). I know nothing about what they dicussed after I left them that night. She said he would be banned. Obviously not.
I'm ignoring it. As they say "You can't fight City Hall". Players getting upset at GM's does no good. However, we all know that GM's have the power and Responsibility to 'Shape' Illarion as they want it. So, in a sense, by allowing Dain to continue his rampage the next day as he did, the GM's promoted the Chaos IG now. The "War" IG could have stopped that day without 'Dain" there intimidating the Governor, then clouding both of us.
Welcome to Illarion!

Don't bullsh*t around Chester...
I found the english form by clicking "contacts" then "general contacts" then "reporting players".
it's all there, you can't shift the blame to the gms this time, no sorry.
Use the apropriate form next time

and spare the rest of the community your whining, thank you

I would recommend you contact "Seer" GM's and administrative Devs, these are the ones who deal with rule breakers. I don't believe "quest" GM's have decision making power in ban situations.

Well, I don't know what you're mad about, but you can go jump in a lake and cool off, alright?
I answered your question, and provided details of what happened. I didn't have to do that you know. So cool off, alright?

This topic is complete nonsense. You reported this offence already to the gms. There is no need for any public discussion.
