Welcome to Hell!

Gm's burn in constant flames, torture, eternal pain, and endless suffering!

And that's just the Forums!

Seriously, welcome to the team guys, and hope you have as much fun creating "IG atmosphere" as we do interacting with it! New Blood, new ideas! Have fun!

It is the leader beholder in the dragon cave in the the west...

As far as I know it is forbidden to tell others the personality of GMs; in particular PCs.

OT: Enjoy your work, GMs! Though, I am wondering a bit why the gap of Noradur's leaving has been filled by two new GMs.... but I don't wanna complain but am happy with that decision 8)

 8) :D

THANK YOU!! Hope you'll have fun with my quests and entertainments ;)

I'm going to work in German, but maybe in English, too. ;)

Well, we joined the team not only because of Noradur's leaving ;)

I played Illa for a long time and as a result I want to thank, too.

THANK YOU STAFF!!!!

Well, wanted to congratulate a player for accepting the position, thought it could be someone I know. I don't see why GMs don't reveal their personalities. They really have nothing to hide. We're all mature players here, and it's not like it would change anything. People already are all over MSN with GMs.
I have an opinion that if GMs tell us what chars they play, it can help other players learn what RP behavior is the best valued and supported.
I dont think GMs' PCs fall into any danger since GMs can always report violators anyhow. So why be secretive?

That's the decision of everybody himself if he publish his chars or not.

Some day I will tell my chars, but for the first weeks I want that all players act like they want to and not how they think they have to because of my way to play my chars.

And by the way, you don't know me ;)

Since Noradur wrote which chars he plays the behaviour OOC changed (in my opinion).

Love me and everything is fine  (just a joke)

That's exactly the problem because this isn't the case.

Welcome in the community of Illarion Garou.

I have to say sorry for my OOC during our training lesson with Telegonos and the other man, don't know his name.

I say thanks for the 7 silvercoins and the little training with the mummies and skeletons.

Galim was a dwarf whos PO moans all the time and threatened very often to leave the game - but he never did for a long long time.
As the result the phrase 'Bye Galim' was born.

When your new gm doesn't know who Galim is, you've gotta know something's wrong.

What sucked is Galim actually persuaded GMs with his moaning to ban me a few times.
But now the era of bad GMs is gone.

I actually liked Galim. I bought most of my equipments for Sylian with me, once upon a time. Heh, though my memory about some things might not be trustworthy. After all, at the time I thought that I was a good RP-er and good at English. Looking back at the logs, well... Not quite.

I actually hope that in four years I will be able to look back on my current posts and logs and shake my head, horrified at the low level my English is at now, since that would mean that I've made a significant improvement. Anyway... sorry, I'm getting off-topic.

The only old GM in game I remember was the one that once played a ghost in the tavern. I was alone at the time, and when I told people about the event, nobody believed me! Heh, sometimes it ain't easy meeting a ghost. The point is... I don't really know much about the new GMs, nor the current GMs. I don't think they've ever troubled me, though.

So, what did the old GMs do wrong? You had better tell the raw recruits about the mistakes of the ancients, or the new ones might repeat them.

Any critic towards the gm's will be taken down fast, either by the gm's or by the players who normaly have no experience about the GM's but gennerally like to flame those "critics" anyway, no matter to what time or state someone critizes the Gm's, there will always be someone either locking the topic, deleting the topic as a whole or someone writtes so much crap like "uhh this and that ne got to die and you shut up and why are you still playing the game yadda yadda" that it ends in a flame war and the disscusion dies.

The fact that the Gm's simply can lock up the topics, without the need to argue or explain themself, normally leads to unsolved problems among those, who don't prefer to see the Gm's as godlike creatures, how some of them make them out to be.
