No. Find out IG means everything which your Char can find out.
To see if repairing effects the skill he has to do just this a long time and the chek his skills if the skill increases.
But your chars can't chek his skill, eh?

Its does, but only slightly at lower levels.

Alright, then it was just a misunderstanding of what was meant by 'in game'. I see a difference with in game and in character...
The player himself could find out while playing though. But then, Nitram spoiled anyway.
