*revives the thread*

I have now started to work on this matter again, since new possibilities for using different formats have opened, and myself can offer a bigger selection of tunes since my musical knowledge has advanced a little bit over the years.

I am still open to suggestions about this thing..

Just in case you wonder why another guy is posting this...

I am Ex-Noradur...

Check out a game called Nodaitus.

Simple music but it's wicked

I think the new client only accepts .ogg (vorbis) sounds now. But most open-source programs will convert to it anyway.

Awesome, I'm here too if you would like anykind of hand at all creating the music. .

My concern is:
Greenbriar will get a quite, and kinda happy theme.

Trolls Bane will be more hectic and a little rocky to express that its a hectical town with fast changes and a attractive but nasty place.

Varshikar will get some desert theme, percussions, with a mix of medieval like melodys and strings and guitar/lute

Vanima will be mystical, quite and calm and kinda peaceful
What if someone gets murdered in Greenbriar, or there's a party on Vanima? Granted, these don't happen often. But perhaps music that reflects certain moods?

EDIT
Do you have any links showing your music files so far, would love to hear them.

We already have one ingame, but ... yeah.

Some people already got some samples from me on msn...
but i dont know how much i am allowed to show before the vbu.

Don't remove the retro battle theme. I think that was the thing that got me addicted to illa :P
