Listen, People of Gobaith!

Too long the inhabitants of this island have lacked the right faith, too often the gods have been mocked and too often their glorious deeds have been ignored! Unbelief and confusion shall finally come to an end!

I, Nerian Finera, consecrated as a priest and templar of Malachín by Aragon Ben Galwan, am now teaching those, who wish to become a paladin or a priest, for I could finish my studies. Those who are interested shall leave a message here. I will test them in a first lesson.

It was late at night by the time Olren passed by the post he had been praying about ever since arriving to Gobaith over a year ago. His eyes widen with delight and conviction after seeing the words Paladin. He thought to himself, "Father was wrong twice now." The words of his father echoing in the halls of his mind, "not many faithful on Gobaith, I will be surprised if you last a month, son." His father being a High Paladin at the Temple of Malachin in Mitsobar had always being a striving point in his life. He wanted to be just like his father, and this pilgrimage to Gobaith would be the perfect opportunity.

The young boy, about 14, stands there mimicking his father's stalwart stance. His icy blue eyes keenly focused on the words before him and cool smile stretched across his face. Quickly he streaks his hand through his short blond hair causing it to spike up stylishly before darting his hand toward the side of his hip; instead of grabbing his sword he reaches into his bag and snatches a quill and a piece of parchment he nicked from a mummy. Judging by his handwriting and vocabulary you can tell he has some schooling.

Priest and Templar Finera,

Blessing of Malachin with you. I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see this posting after a year on the island. My father sent me here on a pilgrimage to test my faith and observe the people of Gobaith. I wish to be a Paladin like my father and it saddens me what I have witnessed on this island thus far. You give me hope Sir, my name is Olren Farraday I am fourteen years old and I am willing to serve Malachin in anyway I can and learn what it means to be a Paladin.
