Hey could anyone tell me how to see my skill in one particular craft?? I'd really appreciate it. I go to the skills and the ring on the arrow is ALWAYS at the very right side......i've been playing for five days and i've seen that light animation (i think that happens when your skill increases) so MANY times.

Well, the skill-levels are coded in colors. The thing with the "ring" is just the legend that tells you, that a blue skill-level is zero and a yellow skill-level is the highest.

Yes, skill increase is rather slow, except for the 'resource collecting' skills.
The blue animation ('swirlie') means you increased in skill, but you'll need a lot of em to see a visible colour difference.
Techinically you shouldn't know the % of your skill, that is why we have coloured thingies instead of "Slashing: 10%".
Have a good day.

Well, each craft is listet, e.g. common language. And it is written in the appropriate colour of the skill-level in this craft.

Right click on the text box thingy and choose "Show skills", look for the name of the particular skill, and umm, there you have it.

On that list you see the skill "Common Language" being written in bright yellow, and maybe some other skills in a rather blue or green tone of color.
The "ring on the arrow" is in fact a 0 zero, nada, meaning that the skills written in blue are just starting to build and you'd have to improve them more so they'll be yellow like the common language skill one day.

Isn't that what Hadrian and I have tried to explain?

Thanks for pointing that out Alex (omg did I just thank you!?

).
Yes, I felt the need to express the things you tried to explain, even better, and I think I did. No need to snap back at me with a line like that.

Good last words.
And now stop to scrap who explained better and who does not.

I'm shattered about this reaction.
Why have I to act like the last brake to stop insulting each other. It's sad that any thread must be closed 'cause one can't except or answer another in a friendly way.
This part of my job is originally moderating, not closing.
But some of you seem to need this emergency brake.
Sad, isn't it?
And what should newbies like araknyd think about this community if they read this hostilities?
Please - I'm really ask you all - think about the netiquette with each other.
