What do I do with all these raw jewels that I keep digging up?

When will I get other items that I can smith?
Like different kinds of swords and armor?

1. you must grind them  then you can used it for other things ore sell them

2. if you are better you can make better stuff like ....  ;)  try it
or better is give me 100 gold in the game and i make you a armor
