I dunno if I qualify as a newbie.  But I have questions down that line.
Does anything good ever come from glassblowing?  It takes a while to gather the ash and sand, so I want to know if I am wasting my time?  (Prolly am, but what else is there to max?)
And secondly.  What weapon has the highest rate of attacked?  Would it be the dagger?  I prefer speed and defense over power.

heh.. glassblowing would probably be good to make empty bottles... but only if you dont have very much money.
If you have a bit extra money then its probably not worth it, you can just buy bottles from the npc for 1gp each
I dunno about that dagger thing tho

and the other weapons  try it on a mummy  

Fist doesn't work well at hitting, though.

And glassblowing, you should be able to make pretty little glass sculptures.  =)

I think it would be the best to find the answers to this questions during playing the game.

i think there should be a way to make small sculptures or idols or maybe totems....
maybe a easy modeling aplication inside the game.... not big.... just good enough to make something nice... of, wood, glass ,metal and stone(cut stone)
and you'll need very high skills to sculpture...

or, iwe seen that the guilds of illarion seems like religions (thats cool)
so i would like that each guild , that you, the illarion team accept... should be dedicated a spot of worship...
and maybe they could send a picture of a 3d-modeled totem/idol that can be worshiped...
you may offer items to it... and maybe theres a little reward?
even if its not, it would strenghten the roleplay a bit...

seems to me tempers are rising with people who post in wrong boards and posts and i just don't see why organization is so important. i post where my post applies and leif can't be blamed he was just responding to possabilities on glassblowing.

maybe alexander has the right spirit ... but the wrong opinion. :D

One reason for posting on the correct board would be , that I skip reading the guild/rpg/newbie board, when I am short of time. So the ideas will never reach one of the development team.

I just asked a couple questions.
I've tried the daggers in game, I think I found the one that works.
No luck on glassblowing.  Like, 500 wood/ash, glass, and lots of blowing later, i'm still only on the first s.  x.x
