Considering that many here have themselves witnessed at least one of the Elder Gods manifest itself on our island, I would think that you've simply been ignoring fact. The Gods have existed and continue to do so. Though the Elder Gods have decided to leave the land, they still exist.

The crimson...isn't that the color red!? If your a priest of Bragon, you must be tested, the last one tricked us and lied, and made it appear he was good when he nearly destroyed the isle!
Your congrgation sounds very bloody as well, perhaps you want to clarify what god or gods you will be informing us of, even if most of us know and follow them, explain why it is crimson because it sounds like you will be sacrificing living beings.

I am sorry D, perhaps you missed the memo, the last priest was supposedly a priest for Bragon, turned out to be a black dragon trying to release many other bl;ack dragons to destroy the entire island, and had used the demon that most of the island fought against, in his plan. Sorry if I do not spring to follow every person that claims they are a priest. If you don't believe me, I can probably retrieve the burnt robe. Also, the last priest wrote in red, sorry for being suspicous.

Gods wether true or false do not care about your worship of them or sacrificing in their name. If that were true they would have the sin of vanity in their blood and inturn not be Godly but rather mortal, and imperfect.

The Gods young and old care about how you live your life. If you live a good and honest life without treachery or evil doing. Committing murder and than repenting by sacrificing 100 bulls in the name of Malachin will not earn you a spot at the Hunter's table.

A small, ragged person passes the parchment, then turns to stand infront of it, arms crossed.

It seems she reads the whole scripture, head tilted, now and then adumbrations of tremor playing over the forehead.

With a quick glance up and down the road, securing no one watches, she reaches to a pocket to get a handfull of coppercoins out, which remain there on the floor,
stacked to a tiny collumn.
