Auction System

I think this is a good idea, an auction system.

Heres how I imagined it working, in each town there is an auctioneer, or an auction house. Let's say I go to the Troll's Bane auctioneer, I can only BUY goods in Troll's Bane, BUT, I can view the goods in all towns.

As a trader I would submit the item, and my desired price. It would then be removed from my inventory. After this I wait until someone stops by and decides to buy it. The money would then be left with the auctioneer, which I could pick up at a later date.

Now, as someone who wants to buy something I would go to the auctioneer, and choose what Type of item I want (Food, Weapon, Armor, Etc.), and whether I want it for all cities or the city im currently in.

Though, it might be too much of a hassle / not compatible with the current code-base, but I thought I might as well submit seeing as how no one has submitted an idea like this (Or thats what the Search Function says)

Kinda seems to me that it would take away even more char interaction.

I am not sure, but I think that writing in database from IG it's impossible due to server restrictions.

In principle, with some "dirty hacks", this might be possible even though our devs will not use the hacks for an islandwide trading system. But I fail to see any benefit that justifies the effort. A feature that is ment to reduce player interaction needs good reasons to get implemented.
