News and job offering: The Gobaith Courant
Posted: Mon Dec 10, 2007 8:30 pm
Dear people of Troll's Bane, Greenbriar, the Nordmark, Varshikar, Vanima, Silverbrand, Caelum
and various other city-states, barbaric camps and such and such,
I, Theodore Thiffly, halfling from higher birth than most you have encountered here, would wish to announce to you that I shall be presenting you a new service. The service of knowledge, the service of wisdom and such and such.
I am talking about news, ladies, gentlemens, orcs. Me and my fellow writer Horace E. Gallant shall be providing you with the latest insight, the grandest schemes planned at the moment and ofcourse all the information on events you have missed. Forgot to attend the market 3 days ago? The Gobaith Courant shall tell you all about it.
We shall be writing a new edition each week. The edition shall be available on all town walls, spread out over a special section. If you however wish your own, special, clean and free of the fleas of the beggars on the street, than please send me a dove, please do.
We, ofcourse, also offer small positions to whomever feels inclined to come. At this time, no pay shall be offered till the Courant has run for a few weeks. However, the experience you will gain here cannot be compared to anything you can gain anywhere else, no it can't. What I am specifically looking for is someone whom is willing to attend all the peasantry activities, such as markets, lovely gatherings of guilds and all such, and such, and will write a tiny article about that.
Feel free to send me a dove concerning questions, job applications or perhaps for your own special edition, and I will respond as fast as my writing hand allows me.
Wait for the news, dear people of Gobaith,
~Theodore Thiffly~
