Hello all again,

I have a terrible time with the client, it randomly crashes to desktop with a 'Technical problem, see logs' all the time. I can be walking, fighting dropping down a ladder or even tradining in a shop and 'poof' back to desktop. Happens all the time through an evenings gaming.

Now, having just spent the best part of the day exploring and getting rid of the back on my minimap 'poof' to desktop and now a full black mini map. *sighs deeply*

I have even just reinstalled windows today and the problem is still there.

Windows XP sp2 fully updated
updated Java
3ghz intel duel core
2 gig of ram
ATI HD2900XT

I have tried catalyst 7.9 upto 7.11 and Java at different updates.

Want a replacement minimap?

Yesterday I had the same problem, doing nothing and an abrupt crash, did it three times in a matter of a few minutes and saw others doing the same someone disappears, you wait on RP, they appear, repeat #me, you disappear, come back..... sighs. I also couldn't log in after the map update, I had to click on "play" in the download page to even get ig.

I'm having the same problem...

The funny thing is, the client crashes started when I updated java to 1.6X. Currently, I am using a computer with java 1.5 and experience no crashes at all. Coincidence?

Agreed, Java 1.6 SUCKS.
