Was out doing my usual exploring and poaching, and found a small cave in the east. After wandering around for a bit and coming out on top of the mountain, I came across something I've never seen before, nor heard about.

It was a HUGE black stone column, surrounded by fires, with a basic picture of a fire on the side and what looked like a miniature sun blazing away at the top. The only description I could get was "Column of Flame/ Fire" (couldn't remember which one it actually was).

Um... what is it?

Well its the Pillar of fire...find out more ig ; ).

I do believe that's from a quest long ago that was never finished.

It is a landmark...and is being used in a quest, soon...like tommorrow, if I remember.

Yea, it's from a quest i attempted but never completed a long time ago, i'm not sure if it's sister monument still exists in eastern forest outside Bane. Anyway It used to have a sound effect that went with it. I believe you can still find said sound effect somewhere in the southern forest.

Nice to see it's still getting alot of use.

Yeah, that sound effect's used for "bones crackling" now .

Is this a quick visit?

Yes just a quick visitto see whats going on. I stop in to the forums to see how everyone is doing from time to time. I have attempted a few log on's but to no avail,i don't have enough time now a days. One day i shall return, maybe. well keep doing what you doing illarionites.
