First of all, thanks for all players who participated in yesterdays quest. We are aware that not everything worked out just fine. Also, we have made our "observations", to keep it short. To improve the questing in Illarion, feedback is always welcome. Please write what you think was good and what was bad and how we could have improved the quest. You don't have to write long essays, make it simple by using this layout:
Brelogar was just hilarious, screaming "INFIDEL" at everyone.
The monsters . If only I had not run upstairs alone .
The slight feel of comedy, especially from the !informs, helped to make it generally more fun.
Bad
Spending 1-2 hours getting wood, chopping it, going to Varshikar etc. etc. when it could've been a 5 minute thing.
Generally the slow rate of how events happened.
The alienating "Sit back and watch; don't say a thing" feel of it.
The large amount of people participating made it hard to see what was going on.
I wasn't too fond of the way that people read the !informs and got on the raft even though it was like halfway there saying #me swims to the raft, during a massive storm.
Improvement
Less time walking around and doing nothing. i.e. "I'll go and get my raft" instead of "Let's spend 2 hours building one".
A faster pace, or more going on. e.g. on the raft it took quite a while to get there with not much happening. If pirates had attacked, or you'd done a couple thunder spells, the raft got there faster or we hit the shore and got shipwrecked on the isle it would've been nicer.
Making it feel more like it's up to us what happens, and not a linear plot. I know this was your aim, Estralis, but it felt like we had to be tagalongs.
I think a couple of people took care of the "too many people" problem themselves
I noticed the quest was in progress, got ig and saw at the time that a raft was on the high seas. Usually missing out on them due to not being ig then, I would have liked to participate. The only information on the quest was "Greenbriar quest free". I would like it to be a little more specific on the information for those that would like to have gotten involved.

Not that that is the gms fault.
Considering that quests are at least like 75% RP and maybe the other 25% would be fighting, I doubt that your statement could be true. Maybe you could explain it?

Shut up Lrmy. Your 25% rp, 50% powergaming, and 25% fighting.
