The world of Illarion once was a beautiful and peaceful land. But now, hatred and mistrust among the races is spreading, poisoning the earth we walk on, the air we breathe and the water we drink. People are not respected as living beings any more, they are judged after the color of their skin and the form of their body. This has to stop!
Do we want our world to descent into another Age of Discord? Did the fall of Malachi and the suffering his armies brought onto our world teach us nothing?
Therefore I call upon all of you to act! Show that you care by joining the Peace Falcons. We are not a guild, we are not a clan. There are no fees, and everybody may become a member, all the same which race he is from or what guilds he is in.
We shall not watch deedlessly as our world falls apart!

The basic of your words is ok, Emhyr van Emreis, but you're not right by saying

For example I am married with an elven, one of my best friends is an halfling and
I know some Lizzards who have my full respect. And I'm not the only one in this
town with this opinion!

I am sorry. Of course, I should have said "often, others are judged...", and it is true what you say, as one of my best friends too is an elf. But I think you know what I mean - there are many friendly people here, but there are also much too many senseless killers and racists on this world. This is what I think we have to show that we are against. And in an as much Ghandi-like manner as it is possible, if you know what I mean.

In this case I can stand behind your opinion, but what you are talking about are
things that the member of the Grey Rose practice every day.

In this case, I shall consider trying to get into contact with the Grey Rose. My idea of a new community (maybe you could see it as a job... a city watch or a police) arose because I didn't know the Grey Rose already did something like that... I read through their home page didn't really find that.
By the way, is the Grey Rose recruiting again? I thought they stopped?

Lasukie... You speek true words. But if ultimate joy is not reachable, should that stop us from trying to improve the actual state? It can definitely be better than it is now, and reaching the best state we can reach should be our goal. For as soon as we stop trying, we will descend into chaos.

Well, perhaps you haven't read our codex carefully. In our codex is stated:

6.STAND TO THE ORDER.
And to those you call your friends. And help all those that obviously need help. That is honour.
7. PAY BACK.
Repay good deeds with good deeds but don't repay evil with evil. Be fair and thankful. That is honour.
8. RESPECT.
Respect the other members, and respect friends of the guild. Also respect a strong enemy, or monster. That is honour.
10. PROTECTION.
Protect the weak and help them in their development . If you see a criminal killing or stealing, then help. That is honour.

We also have knights from different races in our Circle.
By the way, our sisterguild, the Grey Light has the same goals, as we have.


We have had a stop of recruiting half a year ago, but now we still look for new knights. But we look very carefully and only ask proved people, which has shown a good behavoir and honour in their way of living in the streets of Troll's Bane.

And a last word to your name: Do you know, that the falcon is the sign of Malachin, the god of fight and hunt?

i just want too write that of course the orc has an elf as friend becase its his nearest cusin

how is an elf releted to an orc?...

anyway, trying to improve the state is good, but it is ultimatly imposible without hurting others. your best bet is to make the majority happy.

What Zorain is playing at is that I am the reincarnation of an Elf... but I wouldn't dare to state him as a friend. He does not live anymore.

@Aragon: No, I didn't know this. But it does not matter I believe, as, the way I see it, the chances of this group coming into real existance are quite small. Well, at least it is not a sign of Moshran

Why is anybody able to start a guild in Illarion??? - I've asked this question for several times.... Why can every newbie - not knowing the grey rose or the grey light - open up a guild(or something like this)...?

Sir Aragonius, of course your question has it's right. But I do know the grey rose, and I do the grey light - it is indeed hard not to. My problem with them was and is that they are guilds - which means that if you are in the grey rose, you can't be a bloodskull anymore for example.
Correct me if that is wrong, because if it is, I truly understand nothing about this world.
What I wanted to create was not a guild, but just a group of people loosely bound together solely by the wish for a peaceful world of Illarion - not a guild, not a clan, not eaven a strongly bound organisation. Just people who show what they want by being members - and behaving accordingly (The codex was to give guidelines for this behaviour). And I believe that this would be the first organisation of this kind in Illarion. Correct me if I am wrong.
My last post - saying that this would probobaly not come into existance - was triggered not by me learning about the existance of the grey rose, it was caused by me seeing that the responses to this post were not looking as if many people wanted to join. And such an organisation could succeed only if there were very many people in it - kind of like a demonstration: only if there's a crowd walking down the street people will notice. Nobody will care about five or ten guys walking down the sidewalk.

The Order of the Grey Light is NO "Guild". Guilds are for trade, or unions of craftsmen.
The Order of the Grey Light is an Order. We share common interests, and have common goals. And, and this is the most important part, we share a common philosohy, and a certain view of things...
Same to the Knights of the Grey Rose, who are no "Guild" too : They are a Knight's Circle.

If the grey rose is a guild like you said or you menationed it to be like that - how could i be able to be also a survant of Sirani couse the god of the grey rose is Malachin. I belive in both of the gods   - nobody of the grey rose members ever told me not to think like this.

No you can't ... we don't like to be member in a guild and in our Circle of Knights, too.
And as Xaveria said, Malachin is the god of the Grey Rose, which guides and protects us.
But it is possible, to serve other gods, too.
Like you did, Xaveria, or Rugosch as priest of Irmorom.
