Sibanac!

Well, as we have sibanac now, it'd be funny to get random things happening, e.g. you start to move extremely slowly or people randomly turn into cows etc.

It'd be really kinda funny :P

There'd have to be local grafic changes for that.. I don't think that's possible right now.

To see a char as a cow is only possible if that char is really turned into a cow AFAIK. All effects on the sibanac smoker him/herself should be no problem.

When you use it with a pipe it does some auto-emotes now.

Personally, I'm not too fond of the auto emotes, and I don't really want to see more random things automatically happening.

I don't want the system to RP for me, I want to RP myself.

In which case there'd be no point having sibanac ingame except for making thread.

It's not forced if you have the option to use it. The COLD is forced. This is just a bit of fun. And plus, for some people who smoke for the first time it'd be funny. Suddenly you move reeeeaaally slowly and you and everyone around you turns into cows. :P

one can´t create a cow only visible for one client >_>

But we could implement some *mysterious* voices. Or perhaps in the nearer or farer future, the body could stay but the *mind* could be shifted to a crazy dream world ;)

Aren't the effects of smoking sibanac meant to be the effects of smoking mariuhana?

If this is right, I am against appearing halluzinations, they might appear after eating magic mushrooms but not after smoking mariuhana.
In the end mariuhana might effect socalled "pseudo-halluzinations" like you see some shadow in the night and think this is another person, e.g. stalking you. Ther might appear paranoia...

Those things are things you can rp ... even if there are no halluzinations made by engine, you char can eat mushrooms which let appear those after an hour or some ... perhaps your char does it unwittingly sometimes and gets an horrible trip ... or you are an orc shaman, i would like it if orc shamans eat some magic mushrooms from time to time ... hehe ... but i am against appearing real halluzinations after smoking some weeds ;)

wish a nice rp ... *minjok begins to cook a fine smelling mushroom soup* :twisted:

I enjoy a little auto-emoting, especially the colds, because no-one ever RPs anything but a very serious illness or wound normally. It's nice to see illnesses spread too =]

As for the Sibinac, I think it would be used alot more if there were mysterious voices etc - it'd be good fun :)

How about when you are high the movement controls switch round once a minute, rare items appear on the floor and disappear when you get near them, and all the NPCs look like dragons?

I think that'd work better for drinking too much, and then eventually you #me falls unconscious and you can't move at all. How much you could drink would depend on your constitution ;)

everything that doesn't effect DIRECTLY the char is visible for ALL chars.

obviously this is an example which effects directly the char. But placing a cow or a dragon in Trolls Bane is visible for all chars. Sounds logical, aye?

Walking the wrong way would affect the character directly.

And you could simply turn the character into a cow and have informs that talk through you.

e.g. like #w Join us.. we are one with you...

And all creepy phrases.

So all other non-high chars would see the char as a cow too. THAT is the main problem.
