Ridiculously fast skillcap

Well, it seems I reach my skill-cap ridiculously fast.
For instance, earlier, I logged out for about 4-5 hours, and when I logged back in, killed 3 flies and got the message; "You are not able to concentrate on learning right now."
I really seem to get exhausted from learning strangely fast.
My intelligence is 6.. not sure if that's the reason, but if not, maybe someone can point me onto what I'm doing wrong?
Edit: I just stayed 1 hour in game without doing anything, just #me and talking normally, then went to kill monsters, and after 10 minutes of fighting, got the skill cap again.

Yes your intelligence is not that good.
But another reason is that you are pretty low skill levels. You hit the cap fast but you have a high skillgain as well. Later in the game, with higher skills, you will be hardly able to hit the cap.

I see, explains it.
Thanks.

Nitram, what you wrote differs from what I know and what is documented in the wiki.
-Intelligence has no influence on the MC-points at all
-The skill level has no influence on the generated MC-points per action
-Every action that could result in a skillgain increases the MC-points
Or do only succesful attempts increase the MC-points?

Not to mention that you train 4 skills at the same time, your weaponskill, dodge, parry and tactics.

Intelligence has no influence on the mc points but on the learning itself.

A little question, slightly related:
if we're talking pure damage dealing, what is better to do? - raise intelligence to learn more skill, or sacrifice it and put strength instead.
Say, using a sword that uses strength as its base attribute for damage, what will do more damage per average blow, a character with strength 3 but GM skill, or a character with Max strength but base skill?

The problem with sacrificing strenght for intelligence in your case is that when you are a really good fighter, you'll be NEEDING the strenght to differentiate from the other really good fighters.
So you're pretty much sacrificing long-term for a short term fast creation of a fighter.

Lose the str, keep the int.

... then become a mage?
Nay, keep the strenght, you will need it as a warrior in the long run. It will take some more time and efforts to become a good fighter, but then again, better to have a good fighter with high strenght then a 'good' fighter talking about time issues, magic and other things that realy matter.

Fighters use int -.-

It is not only because a warrior with sword does not only need strenght. But with some more strength he can carry a bit more. Wonder, what armour he wants to use, if plate, he should have some extra strength. Well...and enough int to learn anything at all.

Nay, guess 9 int will be perfectly fine for a warrior.

Alright, thank you, I understand. Intelligence helps you learn faster, not learn more. The capacity of skill does not depend on intelligence, only how fast you can reach the full potential.

At the highest levels of skill you basically can't learn without good int, because the learning is so ridiculously slow.
