I recently arrived to Gobaith due to a letter from my dear cousin. His description of Gobaith was poor at best. Gobaith is a pig hole. It is a sad place indeed.

In regards to the state of affairs here I am preseting you, the poeple of Gobaith, with a real knighthood. One that actually can and will do something.

The Knights of Eriador

ARTICLE ONE

The laws of the Knighthood are strict but simple:

One may use his skills with a blade if he is engaged in a duel or fighting for the rights that are outlined below. If any alumni of the Knighthood attacks someone for unjust reasons or personal gain, the aforementioned indiviual will be banished from the knighthood, depending on his previous offenses and the extent of the crime. The Knighthood will assist the town in capturing the indiviual in the town that the crime was commited for trial or jail time.

All members will be urged to train their skills with a blade. Since our Knighthood is more a brotherhood in terms of the way we interact with one another, training expeditions will be scheduled atleast twice a week. ((Most likely on the weekends when all can be available.))

Every member is required to choose one god or a higher entity to whorship. In the middle of the Knighthood tarten or crest, their symbol will be patched. Each member will be required to to pray to the god before battle, at fests or large gatherings, over the dead or wounded/ill, and after battle. We accept any religious faith as long as it's not Moshran.

If you are ordered by a higher ranking official to do something, you are required to do it. If the thing asked of you goes against the rules and/or regalations of the Knighthood, then you shall contact the first knight for help in sorting out the matter.

Members of Kallahorn are not allowed to be part of a clan, order, guild or other communities which are not part or affliated with Eriador. The First Knight may make exceptions.

Theft

Stealing of property, or borrowing and then refusing to return. First cases will be a court date, depending on the amount stolen, and further cases will recieve longer bans and/or fines. If the offending individual returns the items, no actions will be taken.

Kidnap

Taking someone without their permission and hiding them somewhere unknown, usually for money, or other gain. If someone does this to a Eriadoran member, or does it to any person, they will be searched for and punished.

Harassment

Harassment is taken seriously in Eriador and goes against keeping order on the isle. First time offenders will be banned for a short period.

Escaping Arrest

If a banned criminal or wanted indidviual refuses arrest, the knighthood member are given strict permission to pursue and attack the criminal. If he is to escape, he will be an offical enemy of the Eriadorans.

Knighthood Crest

All members of the Knighthood are required to wear a tunic with the following designs or have it painted or smelted into his/her's armor. Tunics will be provided

ARTICLE TWO

Code of Chivarly:

This a pledge that every new member must take before they gain admittance. It is the strictest laws in the Knighthood, if broken, harsh sentences are in order.

Never attack from the behind (Surprise attack)
Defend the weak and innocent.
Respect women.
Exhibit Courage in word and deed.
Destroy evil in all of its monstrous forms.
Crush the monsters that steal our land and rob our people.
Fight with honor.
Avenge the wronged.
Never abandon a friend, ally, or noble cause.
Fight for the ideals of Knighthood, Gobaith, and chivalry.
Die with valor.
Always keep one's word of honor
Exhibit manners.
Be polite and attentive
Never to turn the back upon a foe
Never attack a unarmed foe

Be prepared for this, you will be amazed I promise you.

A cloked elf walks up to the wall and makes a discussed face.

Ack, more worthless knights. Horny Rothmans at that. Promise all you want, false knights. How do you intend to inforce these supposed laws? Drop your pants at the villans and hope they cower in fear? The current knights have no honour or ability and neither do you, scum of Rothman loins.
