~A letter is delivered to the Governor’s Office by Dove~
Felicitations to the Governor of Trollsbane,
I send this communication to your person in the express hope that it will be forwarded with all due haste and expediency to the responsible parties.
I offer salutations to the industrious keepers of the repository of knowledge of the collective habitation known as Trollsbane. I know that it is difficult work and I request that this post is not viewed as an insult, but rather an aide by a fellow researcher.
I have recently conducted some altruistic research upon the various written works about races collected in the Trollsbane ‘Library’, and have noted exactly 20 separate and distinct errors in the spelling and grammar involved in the descriptions of the Races.
To be succinct, I shall itemize:
First word is what is written = Second word is correction to be made
White Book – Humans
Page 12 – Sea = See
Page 12 – They = their
Page 15 – exciled = exiled
Blue Book – Elves
No errors detected
Black Book – Dwarves
Page 5 – jems = gems
Page 9 – Handwork = handiwork
Blue Book – Halflings
Page 11 – Handcrafts = Handicrafts
Page 12 – Shrings = Shrines
Grey Book – Lizards
Page 5 – Shring = Shrine
Page 6 – Rudementary = Rudimentary
Page 9 – Atleast = At least
Page 12 – ‘the elightened’ = ‘the enlightened’
Page 13 – THey = They
Page 18 – THey = They
White Book – Faeries
Page 2 – be = been
Blue Book – Gnomes
Page 11 – “..Gnome our equal in our Society..”=”..Gnome are equal in our Society..”
Black Book – Orc
Page 10 – Redimentary = Rudimentary
Page 12 – Trine = Tribe
Page 20 – THe = The
Page 20 – woman = women
White Book – Goblin
Page 9 – Lor-angarian = Lor-Angurian
I hope that these corrections shall be submitted to the scribes of your collective works about the races, and rewritten copies submitted for public review as expeditiously as possible.
Sincere thanks and felicitous expressions of gratitude,
~Perrilynn Appalachia Primrose Asmurf
Hopeful applicant for ‘Scholar’ of Trollsbane
