				The Cross

This is a very simple proposal -
When you reach the cross, you are not automatically resurrected, instead you get a choice window. You choose "YES" and you are resurrected. The choice window remains open until you choose yes (or close it), or you step out of the cross' effective range.
The reason for this suggestion, is to prevent accidental reskilling; if the person is finding that coming back to life will just kill him again, he may remain a ghost until the creature/player steps away.

Even better idea then his...do not go near the cross! See very simple. No need for a new bit of coding to be added to the game possibly adding more bugs or things.

Last tyme William was reskilled by a ranged monster.
Once I saw a fight which happened near the cross, the person died, and immediatly was ressurected. He got killed 3-5 tymes before the other player noticed and stepped back.
Sometymes you can't avoid ressurecting yourself...

When that ranged monsters attacked, i was under the impression, if you didn't move at all after getting killed, you won't get ressurected. But if you move a step within the cross' range, you will get ressurected.

This isn't true. I got killed about 500 times by this large group of npc mages without pressing a button.

Idea sounds good. I remember quite a few times NPC reskillings got annoying.

				Does reskilled mean:
res/killed as in resurrection/killed
Or re/killed as in killed again?

Reskilling = ressurection killing. i.e. die/res/die/res/die/res/die/res/die/res over and over.

Hadrian this is the best idea you've come up with.
Accidental mage firing at a cross happens more than people think.

				NAY
In most cases it is ones own fault to be in this location at that time.
See it as a stem cell cure for your skilldex.
Your old, already withered abilities will make space for more...
actual ones.

I'm talking about 'bugged' reskilling
Once I saw someone reskill 4 times because the ctrl click thingy didn't want to leave since the target auto ressurected instantly.
Its not meant as n00b protection.. (though it'll be a good thing as well)

My wind wand dropped first and I wanted to get it back, and it would look rubbish if I esc'd during an rp.

I thought NPC's already couldn't go near crosses, and were teleported away?

The NPC mages has longer range than the cross. So when they walk closer to cross, they are capable to cast some spells to the players in half of the cross area (i think that's their range from what happened in briar).
