Is there a way to obtain branches except for chopping the whole tree down and praying? (Using a saw lyke the old days perhaps?)

I don't think so. Though with a higher skill you won't need to pray as much

almost 90% lumberjacking and im lucky to get 2 or 3 branches a tree

Yup...he is lucky to get one..see what I meant?

My lumberjacking is quite low(my highest skill), but I found that I'm more likely to get branches from apple trees but only if I pick the apples first. I actually get less wood if I don't pick the apples first so I pick them anyway.

not sure if its the way its coded or if I'm just randomly lucky but its worth a try...

if the tree fell dowen shurely theyred be lots of branches on it
