java problems

will illarion only work with java 1.5? i just downloaded the newest version of java and it won't work...do i need 1.5 or is there something else that i can do?

the server is down right now so no one can play right now on the main page in the top right corner is a thing that says nobody can play currently once it doesnt say that try to log on

it won't even let me install the game on my computer using offline instaliation...it says that java 1.5 has not been found...the java site says that i have java on my computer...i don't know what the problem is...it has been doing this for about 3 days.

latest java is 1.6.02 , you might want to check the sun java site.
