1) Does the quality of the tool effect the quality of what I produce?

(Example: Will a better quality pick help me mine faster? Will a good hammer help make ebtter quality goods?)

2) Do tools degrade? I don't ever remember seeing anythign degrade from use, does it happen?

3) How much does quality effect damage/use of weapons? From the worst, to the best, how much of a difference is there? twice the damage? more?

It does effect a lot

No special values. But low quality weapons have a lower attack and break faster then the high quality weapons.
