I made my account and my character. At the game login i type my characters name and password and then i recieve a message saying "requested screen display mode not found" but i already saved my options. Help please i realy want to play.

It has to do with your graphic driver, which (I believe) is a software program on your computer that has links to your graphic card.

Find out what graphic card you have, open up ol' google, and search for 'Graphic Driver <Brand and Model>' and the company's official website (and driver distribution) should be up at top.

That's what I did, atleast, to fix a lot of problems with my games.

Yes it did but the reason im posting now is because now i made a new character and now when i load the game i see evything but the actuall world and it doenst say welcom to illarion and ive checked the technical FAQ and no folders are zipped and im starting the game from the website itself so there shouldnt be a problem. I troubleshooted befoe i posted by deleting the files and redownlaoding it but it still doesnt work.....so im at a loss here cabbage, the only thing that i can think thats causeing this problem is the debugging thing. How long until it stops debugging?

There's a handy post in Tech Support that shows you the server status, since we have an usually unstable server.

so your telling me that i downloaded this game yesterday cant play today and will probaly only be able to play every other day cause of crap servers geez the one good RPG that i WOULD love to play cant work due to crap servers ugh.......and i just started learning how to do well in the game too..... i have bad luck huh.

And now my dad says i cant downlaaod games from the internet so now i gotta delete the files again.....and now the only game that i can play is runescape and no one actualy RP on that crap crap crap crapity crap

If you have a good computer, Illarion wouldn't even add a single percent to the harddrive. I think it's less than 40 megs, as where most good MMORPGs are an upwards of 300megs to a gig (1,400 megs or so).

And if you do get in game finally, try to listen to what other people are going to be telling you. When you're talking out of character (OOC) enclose all your messages in brackets, ((Like this)), or be right next to the person you want to talk to and type #w ((Message) or #o message.

Yea i know but ive been asking for like 3 other things that arnt related to this and so far ive got jack squat. I did get to play the game for mabye 5 hours total probaly 7 if you include time spent figuring out what the heck was wrong with the game but hye on the upside i can still talk on forums lol.

O and the reason he doesnt want me to download any games is because the computer i have is a computer from his company and they could want it back any day (not likly because its a pentium 3 and they got pent 4's) but i just need his permision before i can downlaod games (heck im not even supoosed to be playing RS but to my parnets every game i play on here is Diablo 2) heck convincing him to get me xbox live took me 2 months his trust for people in real life is friendship level and for people online his trust is 0.0001 (yet iv downloaded sveeral online games had to delete them as well of course but no one on any of those games was mean or trying to ask were i live and such) and also my dad doesnt understand what RP is so convincing him about any game online is well im sure you can imagine. And sorry for the long post im just explaing my situation and just a question. What is your character(s) name? uts in case ive met them.

i logged out. when i tried to log back in it says im already logged in but im not please tell me how to fix this.
