Is there any way to knock sheep unconscious long enough to get wool from them?

why don't you use your scissor ? you don't have to attack them... just use your scissor to shear them

I've been trying.
For the last 30 minutes I've been chasing sheep trying to get wool. All that happens is it says "you starts to sheer the sheep," then nothing happens and the sheepie walks off.
I finally got tired of it and killed them all for lamb meat....

There is kind of bug, at least there was the last time I tried to get wool. Only using the scissor does not help. You have to use the scissor at the sheep and it should be paralized or it was the other way arround, does not remember that well anymore...will try it *logs in*

I went back and tried some more. I don't know what I was doing wrong. Now it's working

theres no bug just go up to them and press shift on the sheers and then keeping hold of it click the sheep but you must be on the side of it hope this helps
