Often I was very annoyed when I quickly wrote a long text into the chat window IG and before I sent it I noticed a spelling mistake at the very beginning...

Therefore my request: Is it possible to implement the possibility to change the selection within the chat window via mouse or perhaps with the num pad arrows (poor laptop useres )? Something like this would be very nice.

Whenever that happens to me and I can't be bothered to retype I just say e.g.

Alexrose: Hello I misspelled squirel in this sentence, and the sentence is so gargantuan that I can't be bothered to go back and correct it and, anyway, I'm lazy.
Alex: *squirrel.

well I try to avoid this if the uncorrected version doesn´t evolve any misunderstandings. It´s just unaesthatic

hm ok let´s widen it: by rereading my huuuge message I remark that I better use a different verbalization. (which could be achieved by simply changing one or two words)

I get annoyed at having to delete my messages for errors, I'd like to be able to select a place in the text with my mouse and change it there.

Yep.

I also like that idea, since i regularly face the situation that i don't recognize typos until i've finished with my sentence. And since my emotes tend to grow quite large, it can get quite annoying at times. Such a feature would be pretty cool, and maybe even encourage players to write longer sentences.

I would appreciate such a function a lot as well. Can someone make a statement if it's possible or not?

I doubt its possible since there is no real cursor as far as i know. But nop can say this for sure...
