yeah, something im just wondering about is: Silver!
we have gold, i can get it well enough, but iv never seen silver, ore or jewlery. no big deal or anything, but he!!, i llike jewlery and that kind of stuff, i wasw just wondering? could you add some silver stuff or would it be too hard?

The system for gold and other materials is actually kinda of screwed up in my opinion. One gold piece is worth 100 silvers ( or so I've heard), while a large bar ( 20 times the size of the gold coin) is worth maybe 1 silver or so. But anyway, I like your idea. We have copper bars and copper coins, as well as the same thing with gold. Silver stuff would be a decent function to the game.

How are these graphics made?
On the homepage are some links to programs, but not all of them work.
Do the graphics (for silver) have to be in 3D?

just change the color of the current ones. edit: also could do bronze aswell, and for color make it a darker color brown then the gold while silver is grey.

Graphics are made with a 3D Picture design programm ( 3DS Max, Maia ) and Photoshop.

grobs uses a 3d program, but for the rings and the like, send me the files give me like, twenty minutes i'll turn them all silver then send them back, photoshop does that easy.

And I always wondered what that little gold bit at the top of the ruby ring was... so I just made it red too(maybe just a shade darker though).

I'd also be more than willing to do the rest of the rings and such(or together with Tanistian, I assume we would want quite a lot of things we already have in silver, like maybe plates and candleholders, goblets and whatnot?). Recolouring and such is easy.

all i do is use the color select tool. then go to hue/saturation adjustment. adjust till it looks silver. done. and less time loading because i have a new quite fast computer. but yes nitram if you could send either of us the files. i'll send you my email.

thats fine but who wants the same old items in slightly different color. While for some things that would be fine ( some rings, though there effects would probably have to be different ) i'm sure new different items would be perferred over repetitious designs.

would you rather updates though they use the same design? or none at all athian? edit. lock this topic. it is done like my dinner.
