(Please don't kill me)

I don't really lyke the crafting interface, so the suggestion is this:

Once you USE the tool, the following menu pops up

Image

The red box at the right is a picture of the item.

The items are sorted as shown on the left.
The description is a simple explanation of what the item is used for, and some details about it.

The 'chance of success' can be "Almost impossible, Very poor, Poor, Average, Good, Very Good, Walkover" . This isn't a % or anything.

Notes are written by the player and are stored with that character. The uses are many, keeping orders written down ect..

===

Make carefully: The object takes TWICE as long to create, but has a 10% bonus to being better quality or succeeding. If for example, a customer is paying 10 silver pieces for a stave, and you want to make it very good quality, and you don't mind having to wait a bit more, use that

Xp is the same as for normal

Make at speed Object takes HALF the time to create, and takes a 20% penalty to success or quality. This is used in cases where you don't care about the quality (practice swords or so), where the object is easy enough that you can risk it (making plates for example) or you're in a hurry.

XP is half as normal

Make Is the same as usual

you'd better delete this before Nitters sees it xD

Anyway, I like it, but would need a lot of server modifications, I guess.

What's wrong with it now?

It's already up to you how your character makes stuff, why throw another system at it?

Well. Once some developers have much time ( really much ) and nothing to do, we could think about something like this maybe.

But do not exspect this in the next 2 years.
