Warning

I have seen 9 trespassers on Caelum in the last 2 days. If anybody comes onto the land again, they WILL be fined.

~W.E~

Deuce was given around half an hour to leave, arguing before I told him he'd be fined a silver for every minute he stayed on the land, which was 8. He also attacked one of our citizens with the intention to kill and has therefore been added to the Caelum Blacklist. If seen on our land again, our citizens are allowed to strike him down. Should he pay his fine we may rethink the blacklisting.

He has also now killed without provocation.

Deuce approaches with a parchment after furiously reading the one origionally placed, a new blood stained lute hangs around his shoulder.

I was merely visiting at the time as Caelum is new to me, i had to see what the fuss was about, not much i may add.

Arguing you say? More like William and his little friend Dom, mocking me and challenging my patience throughout my visit, slamming the door in my face at one point.
And as for attacking one of your 'citizens'- Dom wanted a fight and i gave him one.

I do not regret my actions as they where severely provoked, insulting me and my intelligence, something i, nor others would take lightly William, but you should know this by now.

~Deuce~

p.s and for you to give orders for my death on sight on 'your' land is laughable to say least, tis not your land, and to me and many others it never will be.

You were trespassing on our land; were you expecting us to invite you in for a drink?
And as for attacking one of your 'citizens'- Dom wanted a fight and i gave him one.
I told you several times to get off my land and yet you provoked Dominic and attacked him.
I do not regret my actions as they where severely provoked, insulting me and my intelligence, something i, nor others would take lightly William, but you should know this by now.
I wouldn't expect someone of your brain capacity to do so. Oh and I'd advise you to give me my things, considering even Dominic could take you with a weak blade, and Caelum has 2 powerful mages and associates who could make you regret your own existence.
p.s and for you to give orders for my death on sight on 'your' land is laughable to say least, tis not your land, and to me and many others it never will be.
Oh.. well I'm sorry that you feel the deed to the land doesn't make it mine.

The note is written in a rather strange and unusual, yet still neat writing.

Is simply walking into this town considered against the law if one is not a citizen? That is senseless.

Since when people can't merely visit a village? What if someone needs to stop by for a little rest, since travelling during the night could mean danger? Do you want more citizens? If so, should these blindly join and see the town after? Or will an eye be closed for these people?

Caelum is neutral in any affairs. We care for our citizens and not for bloodthirsty maniacs.

It is stated in our laws that noone is allowed in Caelum. The fining is temporary solution, before we add the outer wall which has always been planned.

And can I remind you that even Varshikar fined people for being on their land some years ago?

Firstly, if one isn't a Caelum citizen, he or she mustn't be a bloodthirsty maniac, as that is how your words sounded.

Secondly, you say Caelum is neutral yet you allow no one in the village. You're showing a lack of interest to all people who are not citizens. That isn't really neutrality.

Lastly, what was the need of mentioning Varshikar? Do you feel more safe that they had done the same? This point was useless naming it.

I was stating that even the older towns have done this in the past.

And yes, we are neutral. That's why people from no other town are allowed in. See that way, you're all equal. I think it's fair to say I don't want people nosing around my foundations.

Then I hope your territory is well marked that every person is able to obviously identify such a hostile area. It´s self evident that you consider that there are two main languages on Gobiath.

I cannot speak the old language, and so I cannot post any warnings for them. I would be very pleased if someone did translate, however.

We're not exactly hostile, so much as private.

And finally: all the land above Briar Bridge is ours.

How common is it to travel to the northern part of Briar? Those who can speak the new language are the ones that hear about the town and can read the laws. Why is their so much fuss about this?

The most ridiculous thing is that people only started coming when I put up the public information for our builder.

Deuce, next time I see you, you better turn round and run very, very fast. I'll have my good blades sharp for you.
Also, you have NO intelligence. We did not insult it. And, you hardly gave me a fight, you ran away about four times.

In my opinion,

Since Caelum has been 'recognized' as a separate village in Briar for almost three years now, the only reason this has become an issue by some is that some people have begun causing trouble simply because they are bored and just wish to cause trouble.

William, I think it is a fine policy to ban anyone unwelcome upon the lands of Caelum. After all, Trollsbane does it regularly.

A stroke of blood has been streaked accross the name

Dominic Fisher,

No doubt you are good with a sword, if only you had the brain to carry it.

Next time I see you pretty boy i shall not run, rather laugh in your face, and then strike you down and carve my name into it.
I pity you so i do, i mean who in their right mind would become a citizen of Caelum anyway, tis' a small ugly little comunity and by my experiance the people arent much better.
Go and hide your worthless self in Caelum and do us all a favour and get that wall built to keep the smell out.

You're free to donate to the cause.

William smirks and walks off.

Deuce, you are one of THE STUPIDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO LAY MY EYES UPON (and smell.) You forget that last time we "dueled" you ran off crying. Next time, you won't get as far as running. You have the fighting skills of a blind rabbit, and the brains to match. Do yourself a favour and sail away. Far away. Before I rip you in two.

Okay, rules have become more lenient.

Friends of citizens are allowed access too, but ONLY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE CITIZEN IN QUESTION.

Deuce looks to the board and notices Dominic Fisher's reply. Apon reading the words "THE STUPIDEST" on the parchment, he folds his arms and sighs. Shaking his head as he walks away.
