Has prayer magic been implemented and if so...

If so, how do I learn it? I'm thinking of becoming a fairy cleric.

No priest magic currently.

A fairy cleric?
Now that destroys my Munchkin-theory of you.
May I ask what this sudden change has caused?

Keikan, you're spamming this thread. The question is if there's a prayer system, and not being generally nice to a new player, which is... you know.. not nice. So no cookies for you, since that could engender a flame war, etc.. etc..
To answer Akira, no there's no 'prayer' system yet, besides, I doubt there 'ever' will be unless there are more staff members to act as the Gods, and I last heard that GMs said never to play Gods character or something like that.. Unless you meant something else by a prayer system, then I don't know.

Priest magic is going to be implemented before druid and bard magic...

He says he's been away for quite a while, before he just came back, makes him a new player still.. In a few years, a lot has changed in Illarion. Anyways, lets not discuss that here.

@Keikan Hiru 1st Response:
I realized that my "beast" would move too slowly and I'd be owned before I even got that strong. So I decided to change my planned RP. Now I'm making a fairy archer. No one will touch me
@Karl's 2nd Response:
Thank you for clearing that up. You hit the nail right on the head.

Be warned, as a fairy Archer, you'll need plenty of arrows. My character is a decent Archer so I know.
So unless you plan on "chopping trees" and killing Pigs ((Can a fairy do that? Hmm....)) Then I would try to find someone to make those arrows for you.

In other words, Dusty has just bypassed to 'Don't post trade ads on the RPG board' rule, and offers you himself as your constant, good-priced, quality arrow provider.

Thanks for restoring this Munchkin-theory I had about you.
How about you think of an actual character and not of a "class" you want to play?
Illarion does, by the way, not really support "classes" in the classical way.
(Word play points!)
We just use some templates to illustrate how the attribute points could be spend in order to get a character that is decent for a profession like "Archer"/"Farmer"/"Magician".
And now my warning:
To play a fairy you have to pass a test to show you know how to roleplay a fairy.
The answer:
"I want a quick, swift and untouchable archer." will declined.

There isn't a class lyke DnD.
You can have an expert crafter, who one day decides to pick up his staff and becomes a fighter.
Or You can have a fighter, who picks up a craft in order to get more money...

Thanks for being a dick, because again you don't know how I RP. For your information I was accepted for a fairy for a long time now, before i even posted my "Race/Class Combo" post. So gets some wits before you match with me and run your mouth.

No, I don't know how you RP. But the following surely show nothing good:
Akira Kurayami wrote:I would like to become the strongest fighter in all the land. But in order to do that, I must start off at the strongest a character can start off as.
Akira Kurayami wrote:No one will touch me .
You might be the best RPer in the game, but those thoughts are still very..."wrong". Your good RP (as you are hinting), even if perfect, might bother others if there is the thought of being the strongest one.
By all means, no offence. I just want to help you not ending up disliked.

Nah, now you are being foolish.
While "Munchkin" is the correct term for a MinMax'er, the words you use hardly discribe me.
you don't know how I RP
Let's see if you can live up to my high standards.
Until that point my opinion stands.

you could have achieved that easyer by not bragging before you showed your RP....

I haven't bragged once yet. You may take it as bragging by me saying "I got my fairy long before I made the post" or by saying "Don't judge me by the way I RP" but i guarantee you, by no means am I bragging.

Why are those thoughts "wrong"? I cannot think they are wrong in any moral sense, from any angle, nor can I see how they infringe upon any laws that I know of. If he wants to have his char the strongest in the game, so what? Skills are part of this game, and people always want to improve those. That is a fact in almost every game.

Seriously everyone, stop flaming.
Skaalib is right.
I see nothing wrong with wanting to be the 'strongest character in game'. So what? His char will be arrogant and chesty? And? That's a style of RP, isn't?

Yeah, I mean.. I'd rather have the strongest player in game be a good roleplayer, who follows ethics of the game, rather than a player who does a #me or two each hour because he has to, not to get banned.

I'd rather the strongest player in the game was only strong because of his attributes and had minimal amounts of skill, but what're you gonna do?

Thank you people for seeing my point of view. It seems that when others don't understand something or can't see it from a different angle, they just have their mind set on one way of doing things, and one way alone, they can't do anything but flame a guy for his views, AGAIN before knowing the way he role plays...

"How do i become the strongest" is just the wrongest way to create a character in illarion.
Even if you RP the character well there will ALWAYS be characters which are stronger, better skilled, better equipped than yours and it would take you months of continuous, massive powergaming to even match several existing, active characters. As well as lots of playing time to get the right connections to get equipment with better quality.
Illarion does not support being the "strongest" or "best" in anything.
