Illarion.org

I've DLed the new client, and I'm pretty sure my account is working fine, but I've tried loading up the game. Twice, now.

Each time, all I get is a black screen with the words "Going to Illarion..." in the corner, and then the computer sits there grinding away for 1/2 an hour before locking up.

Any ideas?

Try fiddling with the settings a bit... especially try setting graphics resolution to 'low'.. it did that to me on my old comp if I had it set on hgih.

Everything is as low-tech as I can get it...

Rotated map: off
Frame Rate: 10
Graphics Quality: Reduced
Colors: 16
Texture Updates: Disabled

Don't put the colors at 16 unless you have to (linux and unix users mostly). Unless you know of a reason why it should be there, use 32.
