A couple of days ago I announced my wish to retire from my staff duties at our internal board.
Today is the day were I make this wish come true.

Looking back I can clearly say that it was an overall good experience and a time I surely do not want to miss.
Being part of the Illarion staff gave me the opportunity to learn a lot, to work together and meet very nice people.

Of course, some individuals always gave me a little headache once I saw their name turn up somewhere or in the scope
of my all-seeing-eye, but I can clearly say that the majority of players in our little game here is caring and friendly.
This is something that made me stay for more than 3 years active, while I saw others come and go.


I'll still be roaming the boards without any doubt and I plan to enjoy my new and carefree place among the normal players.
Don’t forget to put on your sunday dress or suit and the good shoes, there maybe is a spot to fill.


Let me close this chapter with some wise words I tend to give the newbie who's first action always was to try out what "Attack!" in the context menu meant:

"One less to worry about."

Seems like the staff needs some fresh blood and a new wielder of the uber hammer of banning +12. How comes all GMs except Arien and Damien leave the staff one after the other? (oO, not blaming anyone!)

Oh, and before you are starting to make wild guesses why I am leaving,
there isn't much of a story involved.
I'm just getting too old and too tired of the same routine everyday
and feel its time to open a spot for someone fresh.

The staff always accepts bribes in form of expensive sports cars,
in case you want to increase your chances.
