The title is fairly self explanitory really. I want to know what everyone thought of this quest. How the quest characters were played, about the twist at the end etc etc.

Your thoughts on how it went, if you enjoyed it, and how we can improve these experiences in the future.

All i can say the quest Characters are well played, especially the priest.

The whole quest allows a lot of excellent RP.. involved many players around, gives room for fantasy.

Many people enjoyed the Quest, for me this one was one of the best i experienced.

So all in all i would say... more quests from this kind

I didn't participate in the happenings in the camp of the infected, but it was quite nice to deal with people who want to enter save areas like the Grey Refuge.

I do not know all details at the moment, but from what I heard, it ist not the most innovative storyline (a sickness alone is not very "fresh").

Innovative Storyline ? you don't know details and writing this statement

I think alone the fact that *EVIL heals GOOD* is innovative enough .

My thought

One thing I liked about this quest was it wasn't very long. :D

it was quite good, a little less chaotic, like in the most official qquests..

more of that..

I hated, how once you were sick, you were out of the picture basically, except for the people who took care of us.

by Grivijak
the people who took care for us were sick also, it was your choice as to how far you make your illness go ;)

griv is right..

and on all your rp can be combined with your sickness.. normally enwell has big selfcontroll, and never shows his true anger or sadness..

but as he was sick and enwell saw cromwell, he wanted to smash him.. the catch is, that he was to sick to hold his sword straight..

it was a good quest with lots of possibilitys for us players..

only thing was.. i couldn't pg enwell, though he need some pg really really bad..

but that is for a really good roleplayer the last thing to worry about..
so i ... tolerated this point :P :P :P

Not being ig at the end I would have liked to have seen it (my char was waiting for a cure). On the whole I enjoyed the quest very much only wishing it would have lasted a little longer.

And there lies one of the biggest problems for us as Questers... half the people say 'It lasted too long!' and the other half say 'I wish it had lasted longer!'

:?

Can't please everyone, I guess.

Hello!

@Lianis
No you can't and you shouldn't even try. Try to find a good balance instead.

I think that the quest lasted long enough for the sick not to be bored for too long and giving the "living" enough time to roleplay helping the sick and finding the cure.
I have to admit that it was the end that was a little bit confusing to me but maybe it was just because as a sick I was not involved in "solving" this quest.
But in summary: Two thumbs up.

With kind regards

I really liked this Quest, although I only was able to participate on the first day. But then everyone played very good in my opinion.
I still do not know how the second day exactly was, but what I have heard about the 'final solution' (Nalzaxx godgiven mercy) seems to me a bit like ad-hoc from my point of view.
However, this Quests allows much space and opportunities for future roleplay.
So I think and hope that this quest will have long-lasten effects

So, thanks to the staff and thanks to all people involved in this Quest in any way :)

This was originally planned to happen over a whole week.

First the sick man was to be introduced, and the plague begin to spread.

Then you would have been left a few days while the impact of this set in and you tried to search for cures.

The Livinius, the priest, would arrive and cure a few of you.

Again another day or so, in order for the news to spread and for people to mull it over.

Then the ritual was to be organised and the revelation to be made.

As it is, the whole quest lasted less than 24 hours.

Next time round I'm arranging something that will last a bit longer, but not have such a detrimental effect to those involved, and again, I will try to make it about fighting instead.

Of course the question is, who now will continue to pray to Nalzaxx? You might need him when diseases are implemented ;)

Nalzaxx as god and he returned?

as much as i liked the quest. if that is true i will stop palying illarion and boycott it. i wont stay with such shit happens. sorry.

if nalzaxx returned and the temple gets another pushed char i will stop playing illarion until that was changed.

but to be honest, the quest was fun. until i heard nalzaxx was the one healing all, and maybe the one who caused it

it's classic irony. and i doubt Nalzaxx will be doing any personal destruction. you don't need to worry about pushed characters anymore so chill out eh

Yes, thats why i heard that someone met him in the temple, that he is whorshipped as the god of pestilence and all. sure.

no...i have enough of this...it already is enough that HE was the one healing everyone...the plague quest was all wonderful...until they made Nalzaxx the one healing everyone...that moment the whole thing and the game turned into a big joke.

i will stop playing for a while...it frustrates me too much to hear something like that. just another "pro temple" thing.

and yes, I AM very angry right now. i simply have enough. i feel again like i am a questobject for the temples fun. everything i do means nothing. i try my best with samantha to make trollsbane secure. and what happens? somehow dain and grant rothman escaped again and again from jail without me or someone other releasing them! magically? dain says a mummy named frank freed them. oh yeah...or maybe it was grant rothmans second char constantine valentine giving the jailkeys to others, hmm?

somehow we have 50 criminals and 5 chars who try to protect law!

and the evil and criminals seem to get again gm support. now their god of pestilence returned and safed everyone from death! wonderful! bah...without me

i will take a break...maybe even a longer one...

All was fine before you come back and told all that shit here. I am a polite person, but serious Patric i have enough of your bitching and moaning !

All what i see from you is flaming and such, the Board was peaceful before you come back ... I hope you quit Illarion !

The Quest was fun , had nothing to do with the Temple , unusual, it was great work from the whole staff.

Nor more to add for now !

Nothing to do with the temple? oh, you mean except that Nalzaxx is the one healing the plague? Nalzaxx, founder of temple? Nalzaxx, who the temple calls god of pestilence? sure...has nothing to do with temple.

the quest was great, amazing and well made. until the moment someone told me Nalzaxx rescued all and ended the plague.

its like with movies. a movie can be as great and amazing as possible...but if the ending sucks it gives you a very bad taste.

so see ya. i am out, playing something other.

Dain and me pwn to much. Get over it.

IT IS A GAME!

But back to topic.

I haven't posted if I liked the quest or not but I actually did. Thanks Thorvald.

well Patric. The point of Nalzaxx healing everyone wwas that he's a known evil, an evil people would recognize and it put a sinister edge on the quest which made it less cliche. Sure it could have been some other evil other then Nalzaxx but his role wasn't that of Nalzaxx the player but in itself the representation of the plot twist at the end of the quest. i see nothing wrong with that.

As long as there is no uber NPC raining death down from the skies on players, i could care less if Lich Nalzaxx stopped mid crisis and proposed to Samantha.

Last time i heard of a break out of jail there was rp and fighting involved. Nalzaxx wasn't even present at this conflict i believe. Just because a character is a mummie or skeletion does not mean they have pushed stats. it merely means they look different.

If Samantha brought a group to overrun Hellbriar. then most likily ti would happen. true those freaking blackstones are the most annoying things ive ever seen, but still it could be done. its just that the villians at the moment are stronger then the hero's. they make groups of over a dozen people hide from three. and no one stops them even with numbers on there side. acrdit that to rp cowardice and ooc cowardice of not wanting your player to be slain.

i see no problem with the quest. it was excellent.

edit: for the more obvisous typo's ((anyone ever notice that arguing with Patric makes sucky typing suck that much harder?

Yes, very annoying. I hate how it takes smiling 30 seconds for you to teleport and if you move or someone ctrl clicks you the teleportation process stops. ( true story)

Gosh, so annoying.

Um, maybe I read wrong when Nalzaxx came but I thought he said that he was now in another land and only came to heal Gobaith so that we remember him or something

alright, here the two cents of a "quite new" player who's been with you for only about half a year:

I did not participate at the quest due to ... well whatever, some private reasons ...

but as I heard that Nalzaxx was the one healing all, I was like: oO WTF ???

I really got nothing against Nalzaxx, liked his rp, liked the role he was playing with the temple, honestly

but seriously: a character killing others, well rather sacrifice or whatever, for his own purpose (which was, as I said some good quest, roleplay or however you want to call it) returning to .... TADAAAAAAH ... show up as the healing uber-god ?! ... come on, this ain't logical at all

maybe I missed some reasoning, don't know, but in this case I agree with Pat and Az

Az says Nalzaxx come from another Land...why not ? A ship with a priest..

and Dariya,. why should the Lord of Pestilence and Plaque not show his might ? He is really able to handle both ...

The Idea was a great sarcastic one and i liked it really. I was in at the whole Quest, with Aly and Yridia and with all respect, but all who wasn't involved should not wrote about logical and such.. It was a clear and around more successful quest.

Thats my thoughts
