A nightangelblossom

((Anyone who feels like writing, may do so))
The day was dawning when Meriel put down the nightangelblossom on the cold, snowcovered ground. Left of her stood Eleas, holding Meriels hand; infront of her was the grave of her daughter.
They both had remained silent after Meriel had told the blind boy the story of her daughter. A cold wind was blowing.
An era ended with this. A time of sadness, a time of laughter. A time of many mistakes and a time of fortune. Meriel wouldn't leave this island without leaving traces, she knew that much. She has changed many things on Gobaith, without anyone noticing her being in the background and pulling the strings. So many things she had done, yet never been punished. So many things she had caused, yet without ever being the middle of interest. Sometimes Meriel wondered how she had managed that.
Meriel looked to her left and quietly examined Eleas, who was squeezing her hand. In a soft voice she spoke to him:
"Let us go to the harbour now. Phaedra is already waiting there and the ship must be coming soon."
Eleas nodded and they both turned to leave the graveyard and made their way to the harbour.
"Though most of my lifetime I felt like the gods have forsaken me, Eleas...", she said quietly.
"... I have to thank them, because they blessed me with you."
