Roleplaying languages..

Would each language use their own symbols for writing? Or would they all use the same letters, just different combinations?
E.g:
English = House
French = Maison
M is still an M in french and in english, though the combination of letters which are used in both languages differently made two different words.
But;
English = house
Chinese = (Whatever symbols here)
These two languages use different symbols.
What would be about race languages in illarion?

The moonsilver site has details about race languages. Some use different symbols some use the same. Just depends on the race.
