Yes, we are listening.

Starting this Sunday, and hopefully every Sunday from here on out, the staff will be issuing 'press releases' in the Development board. At this point, Thorvald and myself will be acting as the 'information liaisons', compiling and publishing these reports. We will try to keep you informed about, at the very minimum, the general topics that the staff and GM's are currently discussing, and what features are being worked on.

Additionally, I know that I myself, and I imagine Thorvald as well, are always happy to answer any questions you have. Please note, however, that certain details (especially concerning the punishments other players receive) will NOT be released, unless the people in question wish to release it themselves.

That's quite nice..

Keep in mind to post, along with your progress, what can a normal player do to help. I'm sure most would be interested to.

Yes, mister president, I'd like to ask...

Will these press releases include in detail the ammount of work done or being done on illarion? Which staff members are currently working on them, and what they are doing and how they do it?

Will it keep documented intelligence on WMD, and why are we in iraq?

The amount of detail will vary case by case. It should at least give you an overview of what is going on.
The Returner wrote:Which staff members are currently working on them, and what they are doing and how they do it?
There will be *very* few names mentioned. What is being done will be the main focus, and most things will be at least touched on. And as for 'how they do it', most of us don't understand how the other sections do their work, so most likely not.

Again, detail will likely be on a more general basis, so even if we had such intelligence, you would probably only know that we have it, not what it is. And NO ONE knows the answer to the last question.

Not mentioning names is probably uneffective. Reading the lower report i imediately knew all the players involved in each point. But yeah, privacy is needed.

I like the report!
Names are not so important, the news about upcoming development and ideas are IMO more important.

I fear for the first guild to be punished for having players break the rules. I have a feeling I know exactly what guild they are. Oh well, they aren't bound to last much longer either :D

I would point out, that just because something is listed as proposed or discussed, does not mean that it will be acted upon.

Some things are shot down by the rest of the staff; many more things are simply put on the end of a very long 'to do' list. Still others are neither approved or denied, but simply don't genenrate much interest and 'disappear'.

This isn't meant as a forecast for what you can expect in the next few weeks. It's just to give you an idea of the types of things the staff are discussing.
