The following is the 1st chapter of an intersting little story:The Beginnings Of Illarion
Please post your thoughts on it.
Before the modern-day gods of Illarion were born, there were the seven. They formed their own appearances after which, each of the modern-day races are shaped.
The seven were a lonely group, they did not realise the powers which; they held as the almighty rulers of Illarion. Thirty Millennia passed before they learned.
Before this tale continues, I believe I should endeavour to tell you about the “Seven.” There was Molagh the dwarf god, he formed the mountains and mines of Illarion and there he dwelled till the “Coming.” There was Illiy the elf goddess, she formed the forests and animals and lived with them among the wild trees until the “Coming.” There was Ro’h’ nach, the lizard god who filled the oceans with clean water full of fish-life. He thrived there for the thirty Millennia before the”Coming.”
There was Hobart the halfling god, who gave birth to the crops on which the gods feasted. There was also Fehrwood the human goddess who created clothing, weaponry and fire, she perfected these things and learned to master machinery before the “Coming.” The Orc god Turgoch created the monsters, which still
dwell in Illarion. He hunted them until the “Coming.” There was Twixxy the faerie goddess, she realised the Gods needed a common place to meet and so created the town of Thror, which still stands to this day.
For Thirty Millennia the Seven peacefully co-existed in Illarion. Until the birth of the first mortal; Eliza, a lizard woman. This was what the seven came to know as:
“The Coming.”
