By the way, it is rather uncommon that you loose all items. This should not happen since the corresponding bug was fixed. Is that the intention of this topic?

Most probably, a monster killed you, not the lag, eh?

you got an old PC or a bad connection?
then get used to it.

i got both.
my chars need between 2 seconds and 15 minutes to react to commands.
(depends on how many others are near)

now and then one dies from lack of reaction, so what?

but you should not loose everything in one "death".
that would be something to comment to the staff.

Ugh..it happend to you once. I cannot count how much it has happend to me. Oh wait Arameh, Taliss, Auric remember that time I was like constantly dying....those were the days. Any way let me tell you how to prevent.

Once you start playing you should be able to get a feeling of how much lag you face, I mean on your system. Sometimes server has lots of players so it increases lag. Always move back before hand never say,"a little bit more" because that just get you addicted and you keep doing it and you die. I always kill a pig or mummie before a big duel. So I know how much lag to expect. But if you have a good computer like I do...its usually always the same except when server goes hay wire.

It COULD have been fighter's lag.

It takes me 5 seconds or so to take a step back when i'm in melee`... you need to calculate for that.

lol It's the server thats the problem. I got cable and pentium 4 with radeon 9800 if you call that bad man then I don't know.

well first off This game does not require a graphics card (...) They are only for 3d graphics.

So that makes no difference.

Lag killed me also. I lost 23 minutes waiting for Silas to stop fucking around with magic 'till I could walk again. Magic Lag far outweights fighters lag..

yeah the weather to. It's more bad weather then good weather... In real life it doesn't change that much. maybe they should do it with seasons? in winter snow and fog and rain and stuff... know what I mean?
