Shocking discovery!

Damien has always been rather unyielding on the matter of halfraces, and then mr. Cromwell found this in the history:
Since the tribes are quite poor, they tend to raid small villages or farms sometimes, if they don't have enough food for the next winter. Normally, Orcs are not bloodthirsty, but when they fight with other races, their primary war tactics is to cause fear in their enemies. Captives, who are too badly wounded to survive, are sometimes brutally killed after the battle, with the surviving captives witnessing it. Then, some of these captives, who show strength and a brave heart, will be given the possibility to escape, to spread the news; and drive fear into the enemy's hearts. The others are sold as slaves or become personal servants, mostly peasants, cooks, or forced to help the women with their work. If the slave is worthy and shows good work or strength, and is of strong blood, he may be given the choice to leave some day. Sometimes a slave marries a female Orc, and becomes a member of the Orc tribe that way, resulting in several half Orcs.
Tsk tsk tsk. Does this mean half-elves are allowed again?

Erm

There are also references to fairies delivering blessings, being minutely small; and alchemy potions ... none of which are exactly IG either.

Which proves, you can't beleive everything you read :)

Personally I find what is written history is true, and what Damien says is elaboration.

I do recount one incident however when he told me that Madrook did not exist.

All the more reason for having a team, and not one person control Illa's history.

Exactly, it is POSSIBLE. But if it was allowed it would be like with the nobles. Way to many of them. If one 100 elves where halfelves, it still would still likely only be one on Gobiath. Allso, that was about halforcs... Right?

Well, we always have the engine/story thing. We define half-orcs, like all half races, as either FULLY orc or FULLY human being.

Elfs and Orcs, dwarves and everything else, lizards and everything else and much other stuff is not compatible. Half-orcelfogrefairydragondemonvampires are ridiculous and of course such things will be banned when ingame.

Um, well I've played half elves before.
I don't see any problem with them.

the way I am playing Miru is:
That he never knew his parents, and the person he knew as Grandmother was Elven Kind, and the person he knew as Grandfather was lost to his homeland - one of the mainland islands almost beyond forever far, to the east.

He belives they are his grandparents... but he may have been adopted ...he will NEVER know, he does not have any notable features that show him as anything other than human. but,,,BUT He will always Be true to the belief that those he knew as grandparents were just that.

If i get banned for role playing that, all I could say or do is

#me gives a very formal bow.....
" some words grand father used....domo arigitoo gozaimasu.(thank you very much).... for all the fine people he met ...even the villians

Miru Yukimitsu
Order of the Eldan Oak

Keep it like this, PLEASE

No stupid vampires and the like either.

Illarion should pride itself on its seperation of lore and inherent diversity, this shit would just ruin it
