How do i Brew Mead?

How do i brew mead, because one of my charachters is spending all his money on an addiction to the drink.

You must be decently skilled at alchemy. You can only brew beer (which is bugged and cannot be drunk) or cider (made of apples) at first. Then after you gain some skill you can make wine, then finally mead which is made of honey.

For cider you need a spoon, bucket of water, two apples, and a grey bottle, and a wine barrel to mix them in.

for mead you need one honey comb, a bucket of water and also a fair skill in alchemy

you cannot buy barrels, they are found at taverns or ale houses. Buckets you can buy from carpenters, I do not think they are availble from merchants, I don't think.

Also - what is alchemy as a skill, how would i train it?
If beer is bugged how would i get on to brewing higher drinks?

For alchemy which vocation set and attributes should i choose, if an automatic one, or which ones should i focus on if designing it myself.
