I have an idea to make a screen shot manual. Not stuff like IG knowledge but basic stuff... Like using counter, picking up things, using items etc..
PLEASE NO SPAM! I want this to be full manual. Hopefully, I will be able to put this stuff together.

Following is a field. If you hover your mouse over any thing you will see a field, except characters.. A field is highlighted around with a white box.

Alright..
Now talking IG.

White letters can be heard quite a few fields.

Ex:



Now a whisper can only be heard two fields away.. And whisper is in grey letters. Now to whisper you can either type #w your message or the mouth at the side of the client can be clicked on and adjusted to whisper

EX:
I typed a message. To show. Remember you have to type and click enter for it to be displayed to other users. So, the first whisper others can see. But the most bottom one is only viewable by me and not entered yet.



Next is Scream. Now a scream can be heard many fields away and other players will act annoyed by your scream because they Role Play it hurting their ears. Just like you would react to a scream RL.(Real Life) Scream is #s Message or you can use the mouth that I circled. Just click and the mouth will change to different things I am sure you will understand the pictures.



Next is OOC. Out of Character Convesation. The whole thing will be explained later on in the manual.
You can use #o Message or the mouth.

Korm I only count 15 fires and be honesty 15 ashes will not even get you one swirly. I doubt that is pging, come on be serious and do not just harass him cuz he is annoying no matter how much you want to

That is actually really useful swish, maybe someone should put his pictures somewhere on the website with other pictures so we have someplace to send noobs who dont understand technical aspects of the game?

This has been done before, in the 2nd fansite, devrah had done a total manual, which i was adepting for the new client, i have the files, but i never uploaded them.

And in general, n00bs aren't stupid enough to have to need to see pictures of text, i'm sure they can tell the colours on their own.

I am doubtful of that...some n00bs you just have to wonder where the hell they are from and if they have ever seen a comouter before or is this their first time ever and they happened to stumble on illarion. This does not go out to all n00bs just a certain few that I know...AND you know who you are!

I have spent an hour before explaining to someone how to use a hatchet on a tree and then on the fallen stump. Don't tell me noobs cant be stupid.

@others Some Mod erase this! I wanted a clean manual. I clearly mentioned it! I do not care if someone else did it! I looked for it did not find it and had trouble playing so I am creating if you have problems with it dont read it! There are words that say,"Mark all topic read" Use it! Please!


EDIT: Those were not my fires. Someone else put them. And, I do it in batches of 20 in the woods alone. But, ofcourse I only do it little by little. I

But unless the topic is regularly bumped with spam it would slowly fall down and down the list, so no noobs would read it. I don't think noobs would read it anyway in the main.

We don't need the goddamned manual Swish; and if we did I'm sure you wouldn't be the correct person to do it. You don't even know what OOC stands for!

LOL this made me laugh. First "Scream" rather than shout. I can imagine Ssafar screaming like a girl. Other players will act annoyed because they roleplay it hurting their ears made me laugh too. The CHARACTERS would get annoyed not the players and that's only when YOU shout, Swish. When other people shout it's more like "Save me there's a demon at the gate"... or alternatively "MOO". The word is TOGGLE swish; TOGGLE. And I'm sure they grasp the concept without the pictures, y'know?

Illarion is easy to get to as it is. We need to make sure we have a few ways to filter out crap players.

Swish. NOONE CARES. Noone will read your manual. If there was a screenshot manual, you wouldn't be the one in charge. Plus, you can't even do most things because you won't have all the items and plus you don't have runes. Also have you seen such sites as Ultimate Illarion. They explain all. And when I joined I didn't join the forum until Kyrie de Combs said that Will was following Rasmantil. This was months after I started playing. And they won't bother reading. If they don't bother reading the PDF that comes with the damned game they won't bother coming and reading your crappy manual.

I speak peace over the lands! Hear me! Swish shall try to stop and behave a bit, and you shall try to stop complaining at every little thing he says, this manual can do the trick with some help, and I offer it though I won't have much time.

THERE IS A PDF THAT COMES WITH THE GAME!!!

Yes, but it's outdated and we could work on a new manual together, that covers everything.

Wether it imediately be replaced with the actual one, or hosted on a remote website.

What DOESN'T the PDF cover that a noob could work out itself or be taught in 3 seconds like how to fish.
