((Open rp))
At the Farms outside of Trolls Bane, up against a hedge lies a disfigured bloodied body, markings of deep wounds engraved into the chest. The same style of markings can be seen on another body, left on the mountains near the exit of Silverbrand...
A more recent looking death, a body.. not too young or old, lies in the weeds over the bridge south of Trolls Bane. A bloodied mess, Ribs opened and snapped out, markings on the body, that like the others..
A Disturbance.

The Silence of the recent night was broken as the mutilated corpse of a Dwarf lays at the bottom of the river, flung from the side of the library roof..
The Drawf.. and those same markings..
A Disturbance.

by Liles
After yet another night of silent searching Liles returns to Trollsbane. Taking the west entrance he begins to walk past the library as something catches his eyes. A dark lump was all he could see. While drawing his sword he walked forward, looking upon the dwarf.
The shock hit him hard. This was no simple murder as he'd seen before. Someone had spent time with this body. Without even checking the pulse he knew the dwarf had expired. Why had somebody done such? It was not even comprehendible. All he knew was it would be a long night.
Liles looked around for somebody to aid him in his task while feeling the body for warmth.

by Atuan Silverheart
Atuan walks peacefully trough Trolls Bane, when he hears a strange shout comming from the rooftop of the Library. With haste he goes there, where he finds a floating skeleton acompanied by a man. He aproaces them carefuly, holding his shield high and praying to Zhambra.
The salkamarian paladins.. hah.. Pathetic
Begone evil ! Or i shall banish you
Your holy powers are nothing but a lie.. let the blood and death take your lives
Retlak holds his sword steady, pointing it directly at the man. Atuan streaches his arm, pointing his open palm at him, closes his eyes, and begins to pray with a whispered voice. A strong light can be seen emearging from his palm making the undead feel weaker and weaker. Retlak quickly darts forward, raising his sword high above him, but gets rejected by the paladin's aura.
The mistress will provail you fool!
Atuan Silverheart unsheats his divine sword and points at Galthran
Zhambra shall show you no mercy! Redeem now human and leave his side
You understand nothing, Paladin!
Atuan Silverheart 's aura gets stronger and stronger.. Rays of energy begin to hit the lich, eventualy knocking him off the very edge of the roof.
Galthran slashes his weapon down as the beams of light spread out, he lets out a loud growl as he attempts to strike the man, but the High Paladin skilfully parryes the hit using his divine shield then hits him back, using the same "tool". Galthran stumbles back, blinking in a dazed state
I spare your life human. Leave his side!
The paladin watches Galthran leaping away from the roof, as he whispers to himself his well known words :"Those who can be redeemed, redeemed they shall be. Those that can not, forever they shall be damned."

A shrill scream breaks the silence of the night. Strung up to an ancient tree by their heels are two fallen knights, the remains of their armour and weapons are strewn about beneath them, covered now by the thick foilage of the Western Forest...
...One would wince just looking at it, occult symbols marking every tree, ghastly markings upon the floor...
...and the knights.. those same markings..

by Galvin
Galvin Tjime walks through the forest, happily wandering through and smiling. He goes up to some of the animals, touching his crown then ordering them to do things for him as "Ruler." He then takes a wrong turn and is face to face with one of the two knight's bodies.
He suddenly goes white with a look of utter horror, seeing the markings and all the blood, the white of the knight's faces and eyes. He falls down and clumsily, but vigorously, pushes himself back against the nearest tree. He then looks up, seeing the same markings on the tree, and quickly runs gets away from it, then looks to the ground and notices the same things. He screams in terror and begins to cry. Soon, he begins to run at full speed towards the docks, stumbling into a few trees and some thorns, but he doesn't seem to be fazed.

I need power..
The lich dropped the body to the floor, its blood crusted face deformed, battered, a torn open shirt, down the chest of the body are markings, the same blood stained, fleshless occult markings.
Perfect
The lich's hand dripped of blood, into the vial of thick Red substance, then taking his book he muttered some cold sharp words.
It's time i controlled my afterlife..
The lich moved away from the body, carrying a cloth of items, and the vial beside him.

The silence of the library was disturbed one evening.
One whack and the man at the table fell to the floor, the lich dragged him up to the roof top and laid him down, to the mans awakening his hands and legs tied.
Ugh.. Ah! Help!
The lich silenced the mans calls with a backhand and some cloth to the mouth. The lich ripped open the mans shirt, and revealed sharp claws to his face
Fool.. you will seal the fate of these mortals
Footsteps heard, The lich scraped the flesh of the mans chest open, making large arcs into the body untill the marking was made. The man bled heavilly.
Retlak!
The lich turned to the warriors, a loud growl could be heard, but this did not throw it off its goals. The lich collected blood from the body into the vial of thick red substance.
Your all too late, i have what i need for my power!
The warriors stood back preparing, the lich removed a skull from its bag, and began applying the bodies blood to the skull, a marking was made, the same to that of the liches head.
The lich began to laugh coldly at them. As they charged, The lich got knocked back off the roof, into the darkness of the now fallen night.
Where did it go?!

The cemetary was silent one evening. The lich approached the gravestone feeling confident, leaving his books, experimental instruments and vials of blood behind him. It raised its hands forewards and focussed on one of the graves. Moments passed.
Come on..Now..
The lich lowered his hands and gave a slight grunt, lowering his head.
But then.. the silence broke. The lich seemingly grinned.
They will all perish now. I have my army.

by Arameh
It was at the river east of Trollsbane..Arameh and Siltaris were having a simple talk, thought after a moment Siltaris, after noticing something over the river, walked near to it to see what it was in a closer perspective. What a surprise it was, Retlak the flying skeleton, or 'the lich' as he is called by most, was just over the river, aside Dain Laiden who is meant to be a page of Kallahorn.
Retlak watched them both for a good while before to begin talking about how Siltaris had foiled his plan in Trollsbane. In the meantime Arameh simply ordered Dain to attack him, in vain, the man did not even answer. It seemed as if he had not even listened, as if he had been controlled somehow.
Fool! Dain Laiden is under my control now, he will never obey you again! Now look behind you, there is a surprise!
Arameh frowned at Retlak's says and rolled his eyes. He then turned back after a moment, only to see a hoarde of skeletons and mummys getting reading to tear them apart. Himself and Siltaris drew their blades and began fighting them, killing undead after undead as the lich was watching amused. The warriors were weakening after every fallen enemy, until Retlak needed to take a break to regain the lost energy, giving them a little rest.
Fools! You better run now before I regain my energy! You cannot stop me the town will be mine! HRARHAR
Shortly after, Siltaris left for no obvious reasons, leaving Arameh alone in front of the ethereal being. He had to endure the lich's talks about what he wanted to do as well as his annoying laugh before Siltaris arrives behind them, striking Retlak madly by surprise. Arameh then ran quickly around the river, obviously the pursuit had gone farther, the man had to run within tons of undeads which were roaming randomly around the road.
Each seconds lost fighting these creatures would only raise his concern, he was worrying more and more of what had happened to Siltaris. He did feel confident of her abilitys, he always had been, but the man still had sent her in a very dangerous situation in which many men he trained would have failed.
Taking down the last skeleton that was after him, the man finally noticed him, Retlak, flying down in his direction, obviously startled and entirely alone. This was then the occasion, the heavily armored man approached him quickly and swiftly began striking him in the chase. But the skeletons, having no legs, was quite faster than Arameh expected. Once they were at a constant speed and a few feets of distance, Arameh shouted to him :
What happened to Siltaris?!
Hrarhar! She is dead, killed by Dain! Give up you will never catch me!
Liar!!
On a burst of anger, Arameh shoved the newly created undeads away and sprinted, with all the energy he had left, onto Retlak, his large sword tearing the bones apart in a vicious side slash and the creature was torn to ashes instantly.
It sadly was certainly not the end, even though he had defeated the feared lich, it would one day revives itself since its 'death' was only temporary, void of ritual. It would come back, but at least this was a beginning, Retlak is not to be seen throught over a week time...

The wind blows, the ash of the bones whisk over to the graveyard. Dain looked over to see them reforming into the lich.
Hmm..
This is no longer games, this is war!
The lich crawled into a hidden hole by a gravestone. He called out to Dain.
Prepare yourself, When i regather enough energy, i will raise an army from this place. We will take the town!

The hooded figure along with his orc minion, walked to the place where the bones of Retlak were hidden.
Dig! he said, gesturing to a spot near a log.
Dat bones? The orc replyed, after digging for a while.
The hooded figure looks down and only nods as reply, while taking a bottle of blood out of his robe and pouring it onto the bones.
In the name of Cherga and Bjolmur, I command the soul of this creature to return in this corpse. Rise Retlak!
Quiet... Fog.
