Quartz Sand

Uhm.. Where do I get quartz sand? I went to Varshikar went to a rock and started with the shovel I got one quartz sand. But, I am bad at this so I do not know if you shovel at the rock or near it?

Try to find out ingame? I don't know but some might know the answer there... just a wild and crazy guess.

In-game? How do you say it? Smash your shovel to the rock? Stand next to the rock but not face it.

Shift click the shovel then keep holding shift and click a square of sand near a rock. Keep doing it. As your skill increases so does the amount of sand you get and how frequently you get sand.
