"A Technical problem has occured..." at random.

Is this sort of thing normal? It only happens a couple of times a day. Basically, I can be doing -anything- (walking through TB, working with my depot, standing in the tavern, walking through the forest, etc.) and the client will close itself and I get the "technical problem" error. I checked back in the forums and the other people with this problem either got it after a fresh install, or in the same area on the map. That doesn't seem to be the case for me, however, since it just happens whenever the client feels like it (it seems). And I've been playing for a while without this happening.
Any help is greatly appreciated. (And maybe somebody can tell me why my computer locks up at random when I use anything that uses 3D rendered enviroments.. but that doesn't have to do with Illarion, so I won't go into detail.)

It happens to me regularly, I'm not sure but I think its a sour combonation of keys that does it, so try not to mash your keyboard while walking.

That could be it since usually when the game locks up I might not catch it and end up holding keys down. I'll have to avoid that.

Yeah, I've gone through that much and everything checks out fine. It's like my computer is overheating and just freezes up. I end up having to restart the system manually with the power button. It has happened with Illarion once, but just once. Thing is, this computer is less than a year old. If anyone out there really knows computers, I ask if you could send me a PM to help deal with this infuriating issue. I may not like Warcraft, but I would like to log into my character from time to time.

Had it overheated, the power down button wouldn;t work and you'd need to pull the plug (happened to me once or twice...)
Can't help you any more .. sorry

That helps me a lot actually, as it tells me the problem isn't overheating, which would be a big issue given the general newness of the computer. Thank you.

I get it too, I always assumed it was my crappy connection breaking that caused it.
Does the box refuse to go away too?

At first I thought it did since I couldn't click the button inside the box, but I found out I could get rid of the thing by just hitting "enter".

When this error occurs, there should be an entry in the error.log file detailing the reason every time.
Find the error.log file in your client folder and check it for entries.

I've checked through the entire Illarion folder on my computer and there are no "error.log" files of any kind. In fact, a search of my computer brought up no files by that name.
