Mistaken Identities

I am wandering around Illa, and suddenly I see an Elf with my name over her head (I use it so I know who is who since we all look the same. Though I figure most people do that). I decide to ignore it thinking it is just a bug. I come back and she still has that name over her head. And when she speaks or does something it shows up as my name instead. I have a screen shot I can show anyone viva MSN. Yes I do speak a little German, but I am not an elf... can someone figure out what is going wrong or why she has my name?[/img]

She is still around... I do not think it is a bug any more... Isn't there a rule against peoples names?

There is only one player with that name on the server. Looks like a rare bug with the client, mixing someone elses ID with your name. Could be caused by a transmission fault.
Find the file "names.tbl" in the folder of your char and edit it. You can simply remove all lines holding your name.

When did you take those screenshots? I'm a bit confused now because when I looked at them I thought that could be me. I have a female elf who many seem to ignore
If there is a bug with my chara name..that whould explain it.

How do I edit it. I have gotten as far as seeing two names of me. One with page and one with out. I don't know what to do next.

Delete the one that doesn't have "page" on it.
I believe it's a bug, since the elfess didn't put in a suffix..
Aye.. Delete the one without "page"

Open it with any text editor, e.g. the Windows notepad.
