mißlungene Gegenstände / failed items

wenn man etwas fertigt und das Produkt mißlingt, sind (ich glaube in so gut wie allen Fällen) ALLE benötigten Rohstoffe/Materialien dahin.

Bei manchen Produkten kann ich das ja durchaus verstehen, aber nicht bei den Tränken: warum sind die Flaschen dahin, wenn das Gebräu mißlingt ?? :shock: das scheint mir irgendwie unlogisch ... eine Glasflasche kann man auswaschen, wenn etwas darin mißlungen ist.
Ich bin stark dafür, daß das geändert wird :?

When making some product which fails, I think (at least in most cases) ALL needed materials are gone.

With some products this seems ok to me, but not with brewing. Why are the bottles gone when a potion/drink failed ? This doesn't seem logical to me. I mean glass bottles can be washed out and cleaned if any brewing fails.
Could this be changed ? pleeese :?

I guess it is so glassblowing can still remain a skill.

it definitely CAN remain a skill, but this waste of bottles does not really improve alchemy skill, neither fun in trying to improve that skill / trying to get somewhere, if you consider the huge amount of money you need to spend :shock:

What he means is that then you will never need anymore bottles, so glassblowing will be a redundant skill

you you will be in need of bottles, because the potions/drinks you brew you will not keep all for yourself, but you will sell them ... so you have to buy new bottles, right ?! :roll:

Maybe they could break/shatter after a few utilisation? Just like beer mugs?

I could deal with that, no problem, but not being wasted after one failed attempt of brewing :)

So ist es bei allem was man Schmiedet auch , wenn man logisch darüber nachdenkt . Selbst die Möglichkeit Sachen die Gelungen aber von schlechtem Zustand sind wieder einzuschmelzen und zumindest einen kleinen Teil der aufgewendeten Waren ( Platten ) wieder zurückzugewinnen wäre eine gute Möglichkeit einen Schrotthaufen im Spiel zu vermeiden .

na ja, beim schmieden kenn ich mich nicht aus, aber hört sich gut an ...

ich seh halt nur, daß zB beim kochen ein Gericht mißlingt, die hölzerne Suppenschüssel erhalten bleibt, beim Brauen aber die Glasflasche hie ist :?

I recognized that while cooking a dish which fails, you still have the wooden bowl ... but when brewing a potion/drink the glass bottle is wasted :?

any dev's opinion ?! :oops:

Gibt nicht viele Berufe wo so etwas wie du es ansprichst möglich ist .

Ein Schreiner hat seinen Ast oder sein Brett zersägt was ja logisch ist .
Beim Bäcker ist der Teig wen er ihn gebacken hat auch hin .
Beim Tränke herstellen sollte wie du sagst , zumindest die Flasche ganz bleiben .
Beim Goldschmieden zumindest ein Teil des Goldes .

Wobei man dann aber auch sagen kann , und auf das wird es auch hinauslaufen wie jedesmal wenn hier eine Änderung herbeigewünscht wird , dann kannste die Minen bald zumachen weil wir soviel Altmetall rumliegen haben oder soviel Flaschen geht ja eh kaum wenn überhaupt was kaputt . Auch werden die Preise wür die Rohstoffe noch weiter sinken und es rechnet sich dann nicht mehr zu graben oder Flaschen zu machen .

hm, seh ich nicht ganz so ... wie gesagt, es wird nach wie vor Bedarf an Flaschen bestehen, denn man verkauft ja auch Getränke und wird somit die Flaschen los.
Wie das beim Bergbau aussieht kann ich nicht beurteilen, aber wie gesagt, beim Kochen bleibt selbst die hölzerne Schüssel erhalten, aber die Glasflasche ist hie :? passt mir halt nicht :wink:

... und da mein Char Druide und nicht Bergarbeiter ist, ist dieser Fred ... öhm Thread zugegebenermassen recht subjektiv :wink:

Da das alles Grade in Überarbeitung ist, werde ich mal sehen wie und wo ich eure Wünsche mit Berücksichtigen kann. :)

If people kept the bottles you sold them they would just sell those bottles back to you as a recycle. Hence no more need for glassblowing when everyone has enough bottles to sell.

:roll: oh come on ... you don' t always buy/sell with the same player or NPC ... there are times you can't buy stuff, cause there hasn't been sold enough ... get back to your fighting, let me deal with alchemy and the like, alright ?! :wink: thank you :)

You use up thread when you make arrows or bows, aswell. And you lose the handle and blade when smithing, but no complaining from them. What does that tell you? :wink:

Well, we have 2 or 3 glassblowers around, and grey bottles are the easiest to make. Seek them out you... you lazy person! :o

When attempting to melt the metal to fit it in you accidently burnt the wood.

I'd give a 15% chance of losing it when failing, perhaps you accidently made somethign which damaged the bottle, blew it up, or was impossible to clean (try melting sugar at a high temperature for example :P)

You look at the failed thing and on seeing how disgusting it is you drop the bottle and it breaks. Happy?
